Nizam, a shortened version of Nizam-ul-Mulk, meaning Administrator of the Realm, was the title of the native sovereigns of Hyderabad, India, from 1719 till 1948. By the middle of the 18th century, the scions, known as The Nizams, had quickly surpassed the Mughals ruling a vast dominion of about 125 million acres in south India. They were among the wealthiest people in the world and were fond patrons of literature, art, architecture, culture, jewelry, and rich food.

One of the best Indian meals I have had in quite a while. Flavors were complex and bright which means freshly made spices. Sauces were tasty and not heavy. Naans were light and tasty. First time at the restaurant but definitely not our last. Two people in our party of four never had Indian food before but are ready for more. Service was friendly and efficient. Unfortunately, the 6 of us didn’t like our meals except for one dish and the breads. The mixed grill was way too spicy and we should have been warned that ordering 2 of these was way too much food. The other dishes were not to our liking either- too spicy, too greasy, and not what we were used to in Indian restaurants. In all fairness, they took two of the mixed grill dishes off of the bill- more than fair. We all agreed that we would not go back- we tried.請問這對你有幫助嗎？

This is my favorite restaurant. The food is outstanding, and the waitstaff is professional and helpful. I usually get the same meal, and the waiters encourage me to try new things and make excellent recommendations. Yum. The restaurant is usually crowded but not noisy. I highly recommend it.請問這對你有幫助嗎？

The food with all the spices, flavors, great taste and aroma are what bring us back every few weeks. Every choice is delicious! Of course the welcome we receive is always a delight.
