   I had the cioppino and my husband had the risotto. We both loved our choices and will definitely go back and eat here again. The flavors were full and amazing.

   I was curious to try what is apparently the oldest restaurant in San Francisco based on a great seafood and pasta menu with some surprisingly decent prices. It's not in the most glamorous area, off the Alemany exit, but pay no mind to the industrial buildings on Bayshore--you're in for a treat if in the mood for genuine, classic old-school vibes, a la Tadich or even Original Joes. The Old Clam House feels frozen in time, which is a great sign of Don't Fix If It Ain't Broke. We saddled up to the bar where we met Flavia who was happy to provide our dinner service. By the way, having a UFC fight on the screens was an extra treat with dinner :) Such an unpretentious setting. The bowl of clams we ordered were almost perfect--we were just left wanting more broth! However, the entree was the highlight of our show: pappardelle with wild boar. I know it's a seafood place, but any time a restaurant can feature this special, I am definitely going to try it. The Old Clam House did not disappoint with this pasta--it's made in-house. Honestly, it could have been taken off the boil a touch earlier to be a bit more al dente. But I was floored by the taste of the generous ragu with wild boar: deeply flavorful and very tender meat. Paired with their New Zealand Sauv Blanc, it was a delightful and satisfying dinner. We look forward to returning soon for another great experience and to enjoy the clam shooters everyone seems to be raving about.

   My family has enjoyed going to the Old Clam House for the past 30+ years, and this time far exceeded our expectations. The attentive maitre de kindly accommodated us and sat us at a quieter table when I mentioned my father had hearing loss. Our waiter, I believe his name is Luca, is an exquisite Italian gentleman. He playfully joked with my dad, provided honest recommendations to my mom, and kept us entertained and satisfied during our dinner. The food was exceptional, too, especially the salmon and sole piccata dishes. Thank you, we will back many many times!

   Great food with lots of choices. We had a party of four. Our waiter was delightful, sharing with us a bit of history of the restaurant. Food was delivered with excellent timing. We did not feel rushed nor having to wait for a long time between courses. We all had seafood but I would definitely return to try other non-seafood items.

   great food, great service! Jose Ma (accdg to receipt) served us like royalty! we have come 3 times in the past month and what really stands out about this restaurant is the exceptional services we got from the waiters. truly remarkable!! thank you, Jose, for a wonderful experience. we'll definitely come again! til the next time...

    A great experience, their pasta was unknown to me, meaning I had never ordered nor tasted it before. Two people at our table did get that, tasted freshly made, a nice cook, tasty and the texture was great. I had their Seafood Tray(?) a huge portion of crab, shrimp, muscles.. just wow, all of us ate off it and I took home like two more meals. Value, Quality, interior is clean and done in a bright nautical colors and decor without being kitsch (not that there is anything wrong with kitsch.. I love the ones done with love and not out of a box). Service was present, they were filled, every seat. I also splurged on a cocktail and they have some unique drinks that fit their menu.
