   The Optimist absolutely lived up to its name! From the moment we walked in, the service was spectacular – attentive and friendly, and made us feel truly welcome. The drinks were also noteworthy; definitely not shy on the pour! While the butter burger was decent, it didn't quite reach the heights I was expecting based on the buzz. However, the peel & eat shrimp? Absolutely bussing! Fresh, flavorful, and a total standout. Overall, despite one slightly underwhelming dish, the amazing food and exceptional service make The Optimist a must-try.

   Amazing dinner experience. The food was outstanding. But most of all our waitress, Hannah, was spectacular. Highly recommended. Definitely going back there next time I’m in Atlanta!!

   Second visit here just as good as the first. Food is very good and plenty of staff that are attentive. Water glass always full. Great presentation on plates. We will definitely be back again!

   Had a wonderful time celebrating our 3 year anniversary 💗 Our server Alyssa was outstanding and sweet. We’ve enjoyed The Optimist every visit and this time was really special. Every person we interacted with was very kind. Please share our thanks to your staff

   Everything - I mean everything - was perfect. Our server, Odera, was attentive but not intrusive and was knowledgeable about the dishes. A great guide for our evening. The food was incredible. Blue fin tuna appetizer is the perfect blend of tuna, spice and texture. Rock shrimp appetizer in a sea of spicy harissa butter only needed crusty bread for dipping. Haddock was perfect and whole flounder delicious if a bit boney even after table side filet. Even the coffee was good. And don’t get me started on THOSE rolls.

    I booked a table for 6 people some weeks ago for a business group during a busy conference in Atlanta. The group grew and I called the restaurant on the day to add two additional people. On arrival I was embarrassed to find we were up to 10. Despite being very busy, front of house staff worked hard to accommodate us and seated everyone with minimal fuss. As usual, service and food were outstanding, thank you
