The Oxford House Inn & Restaurant, a Western Maine Bed and Breakfast and Full Service Inn, offers visitors to the Mt. The Oxford House is our go-to place in the vicinity (we live just over the border in NH) for a special meal any time of the year. In Summer we love sitting on the screeded porch and last night we ate in the cozy/casual pub/bar down stairs. Same great food. Same great service. We are grateful to have such a wonderful restaurant so close by.

We just moved to Stow Maine and this was our first time out and first time to the Oxford Inn. It was a great experience, realty relax, people we wonderful, food was 5 star but not pretentious, felt like I was in someone’s home. I would recommend seating out front where the fireplace is, it’s gas but it’s a beautiful room. Highly recommend!!

Usually a great experience in the summer and in the winter too if the main room's fireplace is working, but not yesterday evening.

As always, we had an excellent meal at Oxford House. We brought an old friend who was visiting from this state, and he loved it as well.

Everything was wonderful. The food , the service and the ambiance were spot on. We enjoyed meeting everyone and feeling so welcomed. Can’t wait to go back!

First time back since the ownership change. Oxford House was always our favorite restaurant for special occasions. The service, food, drinks, elegant atmosphere, and attention to detail were what made it special. Without that, its just another mediocre restaurant. We were very disappointed to see that the level of service and professionalism has declined. Our food was over-salted, over-cooked, and the cocktail watered-down. Plastic flowers?? Even the overall energy was noticably different. Thankfully the mountain view hasn't changed, except for the unfortunate removal of the bird feeders.
