The Palm Court’s Afternoon Tea truly shines with custom tableware and china, a fragrant tea list steeped in history, and of course, a bit of precocious Eloise too. Guests are invited to nibble on our in-house Pastry Chef’s unique culinary offerings like delicate finger sandwiches, buttery scones and elegant desserts, which are all made from scratch with local, seasonal and sustainable ingredients.

Hours:
Breakfast* | 6:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.
Confirmed breakfast reservations at The Palm Court
are reserved for hotel guests at this time.

Afternoon Tea | 11:00 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Lite Fare & Cocktails | 5 p.m. – 11 p.m.
Reservations are not required but recommended
*Lite Fare menu ends at 10:00 p.m.
*Based on hotel occupancy. Hotel guests will be priority.

We had the most incredible experience! Our server Kazi was incredibly attentive and played a large part in making our tea time feel special. The tea was fantastic (we tried the mint, lavender, and fruit infusion) as well as the desserts and sandwiches. On top of that, the architecture of the room is breathtaking. I can’t wait to return!

Although the service was very nice a few things would have made the experience nicer for such an expensive experience. I guess you have tea there for the experience, that being said, the only thing left of the Plaza seems to be the Palm Court. The shops and downstairs food court were closed. Only one shop was open, very much a dying mall atmosphere. The furniture was not fancy, tired and plain for again the price tag. Although the service was superb, I feel the experience is resting on its laurels and could have had much more ambience.

Amazing service! The food it was nothing special but the tea and champagne it was the best of all. Our server was amazing, polite, and very welcoming. I could say that the Palm Court at the Plaza is a tourist stop. Definitely woth going once!

We really enjoyed the ambience and the music. The service was OK. One lady waiter was super kind. The drinks were delicious. About the food the burger sliders arrived cold but were still delicious and the French fries too. We do not recommend the cheese and cold cult plate: it was bad presented and was nothing special for $50. Anyway, I would go back but just for drinks.

While the service and ambience made the experience, the food is almost inedible. Save your money and go elsewhere .

Setting was superb. Ambient music was just at the right level. Service varied. At small reception desk ladies were very gracious. Food was excellent although no one checked if we were ok with what was provided. No extra sandwiches were offered. No alternative tea was offered. Toilets were miles away. Offered water. Which we then had to pay dearly for. 18% gratuity - excessive for service provided. If in London compare to The Ritz or Claridges for the service provided there.

Laura, Emily, Tony and all in the Food and Beverage team are amazing. The Plaza is a lovely place to go, particularly, if it's your first time in Manhattan, New York. The Plaza is iconic and New York's finest.

The food was the biggest disappointment. We opted for the tea prix fixe that was $140 per person ( which is the low end) but other than the scones, the food disappointed us. The tea sandwiches seemed to have come out of a fridge where they were prepared a day before and dense, and very average. It has been years since i had been there for tea before, but i feel the food has gone downhill. Dessert was also underwhelming and not all that tasty. Did not seem that fresh.
