The Palm Court’s Afternoon Tea truly shines with custom tableware and china, a fragrant tea list steeped in history, and of course, a bit of precocious Eloise too. Guests are invited to nibble on our in-house Pastry Chef’s unique culinary offerings like delicate finger sandwiches, buttery scones and elegant desserts, which are all made from scratch with local, seasonal and sustainable ingredients.

Hours:
Breakfast* | 6:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.
Confirmed breakfast reservations at The Palm Court
are reserved for hotel guests at this time.

Afternoon Tea | 11:00 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Lite Fare & Cocktails | 5 p.m. – 11 p.m.
Reservations are not required but recommended
*Lite Fare menu ends at 10:00 p.m.
*Based on hotel occupancy. Hotel guests will be priority.

Our server Fariz (I think that was his name) and the rest of the staff was impeccable. Kind, warm, and attentive. My daughter Eloise (yes, that’s her name) was over the moon!

My cousin, my daughter and I had the pleasure of being served by Fariz at The Plaza Palm Court, and I cannot say enough good things about him! From the moment we were seated, he was friendly, inviting, and made our entire experience truly memorable. Fariz ensured that we had everything we needed in a timely manner and took the time to thoughtfully explain the menu and all the available options. His attention to detail and warm demeanor made us feel so well cared for throughout our visit. If you're planning a trip to The Plaza, I highly recommend asking for Fariz—you won't be disappointed. He truly elevates the dining experience and leaves a lasting impression!

It was a wonderful experience! The service was excellent and the food was delicious. The restaurant/ hotel is beautiful! The staff was able to add a friend to our reservation. This is a pricey high tea and tip is automatically added to the bill. Signature tea for 3 was $600. Some options are more expensive. Keep in mind this is at the Plaza and the demand is great. Reservations are required weeks in advance. We loved our experience at The Palm Court!

It was a prix fixe menu , but it was still very good , wife enjoyed the mini Reuben and so did the girls , mini desserts were also great

We went to The Palm Court Restaurant for dinner. We came from Miami to celebrate our daughter's sixteenth birthday. Our server Mohamed Jabari made our experience special. He warmly welcomed our daughters, especially the youngest (11 years old) he clearly explained the story of Eloise and presented the girls with pink napkins! He recommended a champagne that was "magnifique". Small details that turned into great memories for our family at The Plaza Hotel. Thanks again Mohammed! We would love to return! I highly recommend it.

We ordered the Eloise high tea for my daughter & regular high tea for me. The presentation was amazing and the food was tasty. I would have given this experience a higher score if it wasn’t for our server, who was attentive to his other tables and at one point was sitting at the table with the guests while we received no service. I had to ask other servers for help multiple times, and at that point I was fed up and decided to leave. I couldn’t get my server’s attention and gave my payment to what looked like a manager. There was an automatic tip of $50 for a server that didn’t earn it. What should have been a pleasant experience for a mommy daughter tea date turned out to be disappointing, and we were guests at the hotel.
