The Palm Court’s Afternoon Tea truly shines with custom tableware and china, a fragrant tea list steeped in history, and of course, a bit of precocious Eloise too. Guests are invited to nibble on our in-house Pastry Chef’s unique culinary offerings like delicate finger sandwiches, buttery scones and elegant desserts, which are all made from scratch with local, seasonal and sustainable ingredients.

Hours:
Breakfast* | 6:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.
Confirmed breakfast reservations at The Palm Court
are reserved for hotel guests at this time.

Afternoon Tea | 11:00 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Evening Prix Fixe | 6 p.m. – 11 p.m.
Reservations are not required but recommended
*Evening prix fixe menu ends at 10:30 p.m.
*Based on hotel occupancy. Hotel guests will be priority.

As the backdrop for some of New York's most iconic parties in history, we are honored that you have joined us to continue this tradition and kick-off a new decade with an event that holds true to our legacy. Here's to the Plaza's storied past and limitless future to include live entertainment, grand buffet, live music, full bar and complimentary midnight toast of Roederer Cristal to ring in the New Year. Keep these four walls filled with the buzzing excitement that makes our castle on Central Park a location that continues to withstand the test of time. We will welcome guests at 9PM through 1AM. Cancellations made within 14 days of the event will be non-refundable. No shows will be non-refundable.

Prix fixe menu was average but the actual food was horrible. Stale, old, cold and almost unhealthy to eat. I’d get more fresh food from the carts outside. The wine tasted old and gross and I didn’t get a taste first, the server just poured it. I feel like they brought out the old stuff from the back. Not worth the $160 at all. Will def not recommend or come back.

Was pleasantly surprised! The holiday signature tea set was very delicious we enjoyed every bite! The tea was also outstanding. Of course you’re paying in part for the fact that it’s the plaza so yes it’s very expensive, but a really wonderful experience with great food, great tea, and great service!

We had dining yesterday. The food was terrible and pricy. We left the restaurant hungry. I don’t recommend anybody to try their food.

A special birthday treat and it did not disappoint. Beautiful setting, very attentive and friendly servers. The food was beautifully presented and tasted delicious. We were given boxes to put any uneaten pastries in and a lovely presentation bag to carry them in. I also received a birthday cake complete with candle - such a lovely touch

Beautiful hotel but way overpriced for what you get. Finger Food was great but should have more selections for what you pay. Our waitress lacked enthusiasm and didn’t help make the experience more special or memorable. It was my mother’s 80 bday, brought me a cute cake with candle but was so abrupt that I didn’t have time to pull out my camera. Expected a better experience for $300 plus! Was nice to see the plaza inside though!!
