Located at the base of the Valley Express and inside the Blue Mountain Inn, The Pottery Alpine Restaurant is a fixture of the Blue Mountain experience. Food was amazing and our server Kevin was great. Only downside was the temperature was pretty cold sitting next to a window in the winter.

I loved the fondue, I enjoyed the chicken schnitzel (although I’m mystified as to why a regular schnitzel (which are made of pork) wasn’t offered), and loved the cheesecake. The risotto wasn’t great, but not bad per say. Nobody liked the vegan chocolate cake but it could simply be because we aren’t used to vegan cakes. If so, The fact there wasn’t a regular chocolate cake on offer on an alpine restaurant is an issue. There’s good value IF you’re in a large group, (we were 5) and 2 people order the special that includes everything and so 5ppl share the 2 fondues and 2/desserts, but it’s a bit expensive if you don’t. Staff was super friendly and attentive. I had an amazing experience (I had the schnitzel) , my mom didn’t like it as much (risotto), my brother liked it (schnitzel) and I don’t trust his wife’s opinion to assert that water is wet to include it lol. I loved the quiet and elegant atmosphere. I plan to return with my brother.

We had a lovely evening at the Pottery. The ambience was perfect with low lighting and a table beside the fireplace. Our server was great and we appreciated the recommendations and wine pairing. We finished the evening with the best fresh decaf coffee, which is rare to experience. We’ll be back for more fondue, next time with friends!!

It was our first time at The Pottery and it did not disappoint. We started with the cinnamon bun, thinking it was a small sweet treat to start our brunch. It was huge, warm and delicious and those pecans were AMAZING! We brought the rest home to share so that we could actually eat our meal. We ordered the bacon and brie omelette and the schnitzel, both again, were a very healthy portion. Everything was fresh and delicious. My only complaint is that we live too far to enjoy it regularly (which might be a good thing). Our server was awesome, his name escapes me but he was from Ireland and still had all the charm and personality of the green isle. He definitely made our time there all the more enjoyable. Hopefully we can visit again soon.

We enjoyed the Fallicious dinner - cheese fondue followed by chicken schnitzel with side dishes, and then the cheesecake wrapped in phyllo. All delicious and after the fondue, most of everything else got packed up and went home. Lots of food! Our server Carmelle was absolutely lovely. It was a Sunday night before ski season, so it was nice and quiet with our table by the fireplace.
