The Prime Rib is an American steakhouse reminiscent of a 1940's Supper Club. The Dress Code is Business Casual. Dress shorts are permitted. Live music every night.

    Been going to The Prime Rib for decades. Hands down the best fine dining experience in Baltimore. It has old world charm and sophistication that you can’t find in most places. The atmosphere with piano and jazz is outstanding. Our server was pretty good. When it got busy we didn’t see him as much as I would have liked but overall he was very professional and knowledgeable. The food was excellent. I always get prime rib but my friend got the pork chop and it was delicious. The crab claw appetizer is a must as well as the side of potato skins

    The Prime Rib never disappoints. Consistent excellence is what we have learned to expect…and experience every memorable visit. From the service to the lovely live dinner music to the outstanding food quality, this is our favorite Baltimore restaurant.

    Mark was very helpful in setting up a great space and Bradley is an excellent server. The Prime Riv is a Baltimore treasure.

    Such an iconic spot. The bartenders were amazing and the food was top notch. Not cheap but definitely worth it!

    Old world glam ! Love the live piano/guitar duo. Food was amazing. The place was hopping. Our server, Bob, was the man. Funny, thoughtful, and professional. We had a wonderful evening. Thank you PR!

    We had an amazing dinner! The filet mignon was cooked to perfection and the service was terrific. We were fortunate to get Aaron as our waiter. He has been there for 51 years! The entire experience was perfect!

    The kitchen has certainly upped their game! The steak exceeded our expectation’s. Robert our server was attentive and fun. Took exceptional care of us! Mark the little maître D runs a tight ship and I wouldn’t even use it but it’s can’t wait to return!

    Little has changed other than the prices over the last 40 years plus of this venerable Baltimore institution . That of course, is both a blessing for the regular patrons who value little change and a curse for those who eat at competitive restaurants and see a facility stuck in time as it gets lapped by newer entrance into the market. The contributed capital from the landlord in order to induce a lease renewal was just about invisible.
