The Rotunda serves afternoon tea seven days a week beginning at 1:30 p.m. A tea experience reservation is necessary to enjoy our daily tea service. Any dietary restrictions must be noted at least 24 hours in advance of your reservation.

    The Rotunda specializes in evening events including wedding receptions, corporate and convention dinners, cocktail parties, rehearsal dinners and holiday parties. Holiday parties are especially beautiful with the four story Neiman Marcus Holiday Tree rising up through the restaurant. The floor to ceiling windows offer guests an intimate bird's eye view of Union Square.

                                                                        I had a very disappointing afternoon tea experience at Rotunda today. Despite having a 3:30 reservation, the moment we sat down, our waitress informed us that they were closing soon. Her attitude was dismissive and she seemed irritated whenever anyone at our table placed an order. When the afternoon tea stand arrived, it wasn’t presented properly—even though I had clearly communicated over the phone that one of our guests doesn’t eat fish or seafood, all the items were kept together. After enduring this series of missteps, the waitress finally admitted there might have been an error, and the manager came over to apologize and offer a complimentary tea as compensation. Unfortunately, an apology and a discount can’t make up for wasting my sunday afternoon. I strongly suggest ensuring you’re treated well before choosing to dine here.

                                                                        Dahn was our awesome server and so lovely to chat with. Knew so many facts about the building, architecture and the beautiful rotunda itself. This is one of my favorite go-to spots in SF for lunch or high tea. The food is incredible and the service top-notch, but I'd expect nothing less of Neimans. So glad that this spot is still standing, given the surrounding Union Square area. Highly recommend!!

                                                                        Extremely slow service. Took ages just to get a cocktail. Ordered special of seared shy and tough and stringy si couldn’t cut it eat it. Waiter wouldn’t help
