The Rotunda serves afternoon tea seven days a week beginning at 2:30 p.m. (1:30p.m. Sundays). A tea experience reservation is necessary to enjoy our daily tea service. Any dietary restrictions must be noted at least 24 hours in advance of your reservation.

The Rotunda specializes in evening events including wedding receptions, corporate and convention dinners, cocktail parties, rehearsal dinners and holiday parties. Holiday parties are especially beautiful with the four story Neiman Marcus Holiday Tree rising up through the restaurant. The floor to ceiling windows offer guests an intimate bird's eye view of Union Square.

The Rotunda can accommodate up to 160 seated guests with a dance floor, 200 seated and 225 standing for evening events. There is a private elevator on Geary Street that takes guests directly to the restaurant after the store is closed.

Very classy and alway enjoy dining at Neiman Marcus. at the Rotunda, For this occasion we celebrated my BFF’s birthday, her first time having high-tea Excellent service and hat’s off to the wait staff! They were all very attentive.

The afternoon tea was such a nice treat during our annual holiday vacation to SF. The value can't compare to afternoon tea in Honolulu. Our server Walter was the best! We will be adding afternoon tea at The Rotunda to list of must do's the next time we visit.

Unfortunately the service and tea service has gone down hill. Maybe it was because of it being post holiday but this definitely not the service of even last year. Tea there should be something special from the time you are greeted. It was not that and frankly a few of the people there had attitudes. Perhaps it's time to try tea elsewhere.

We had a wonderful experience . We had the High Tea experience . It was so delicious . The tea itself was incredible. The water was always hot. A lot of places do not keep up with the hot water which I find important. The decor of Neiman Marcus Rotunda is San Francisco old style elegance. Service was on point. The absolute best. I cannot say enough about how professional and attentive the was.

Our first time here did not disappoint 🤩 Thankfully because we had made a reservation, the server was kind enough to relocate us to have a table with a Union Square/Rotunda view,. Which completely elevated our experience. We ordered a creamy lobster bisque that came in a vey aesthetic bowl. The tuna tartare was very fresh & the kampachi crudo special, was a great recommendation from our server Charlie. We shared the Seafood fettuccini that exceeded my expectations & the Dungeness crab melt was full of savory richness in every bite. We cannot wait to come back again & try more items from the menu!

We have dined at the Rotunda many times. On this occasion, the greens in the chicken salad were quite underdressed, although the chicken itself was it usual very good self. The rock fish croquette sandwich was exceptionally salty and the apple slaw could not overcome the salt-forward impression of the sandwich. The service was good and all of the staff members were friendly, courteous and efficient.
