It been over a year since my last visit to Ottawa and The Shore, which was great - in fact I ate there twice ( hence my anticipation for a nice meal). Unfortunately, this trip wasn’t up to expectation. Service was good but food a disappointment. Strip loan was over cooked and “steak fries” were more like fast food (vinegar -salt fries were good - had half of each - were a nice alternative). Wedge salad was ok but not the best I’ve had recently. Maybe I picked a bad night. I’d recommend based on past experience, and hope tonight was an anomaly.

Good food. Our server was nice, little slow considering it wasn’t busy at all but nice nonetheless.

We had the filet mignon and a steak. They were tender and delicious. The Brussels bowl was unique and delicious as well. Great service!
