Welcome to the historic Sycamore Inn Prime Steakhouse, a landmark of hospitality on the legendary Route 66 since 1848. Our menu features Prime Steaks, Prime Rib, Chops, Seafood, Superb Salads, Signature Side Dishes, Luigi’s Famous Minestrone Soup and heavenly desserts complete the menu. Wheelchair access is poor No vegetarian options in the dining room. You can get vegetarian pasta options in the mail, but items on the bar menu are not allowed to be served in the dining room. What? Our vegetarian guest had to cobble together a dish of salad and a baked potato. John is an outstanding server in every way and is an asset to the Sycamore Inn.

We have come here several times and have not been disappointed in the past. My husband ordered a smoked old fashioned. Our drinks all come out and the server told my husband they were looking for the oak for his drink that it would be right out. His assistant reported that they found it. The main server came out later to say they did not have the oak and did he want something else instead. This was a 20 minute ordeal. My husband asked for a regular old fashioned. When our food hit the table it was mixed up, The side lobster tail was on the wrong plate. The asparagus was missing. All of this was a minor inconvenience but our food was all lukewarm at best. We did not complain as we do not like to send food back to the kitchen. We ate dinner, paid our bill and tipped as we would had all went well. We won’t be back. Too many options to pay high end prices and get served with lukewarm food. Highlights The assistant waiter was very kind and made sure our dog had water. The manager made sure the heater worked so we were not cold.

The presentation and ambience of the restaurant was very nice. Our server, Ed was incredible! Ed's assitant, was very annoying. The Prime Rib at $50.00 was very tough and difficult to cut. It was not at all what I was expecting will not order it in the future.

Sycamore Inn used to be my favorite restaurant but thanks to Ed, our waiter, we will never go back. I was excited to take a group of friends to my favorite restaurant but due to Ed, they actually wanted to leave. I was so embarrassed because I raved about this place. The food is exceptional.

The food was delicious! Everyone in our party was pleased with their choice of food and commended me on choosing Sycamore Inn. We went for our Friendsgiving dinner. We will definitely go back! Some of our choices were the Prime Rib, The Rib Eye, The Rib Eye on the Bone, Filet Mignon, Shrimp and Scallops. We all close friends so we tasted each others food. Everything was excellent! Sides and appetizers were Potatoes au gratin, Rockefeller Oysters, Mash Potatoes, creamed spinach, dinner salads and Minestrone soup. Oh the drinks were fantastic too! Chef's Kiss!

The Sycamore Inn Steakhouse is a fantastic dining destination that exceeded my expectations in nearly every aspect. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with friendly and attentive service. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and well taken care of, which really added to the overall experience. The food was the highlight of the evening. The steak was cooked to perfection – juicy, tender, and packed with flavor. Alongside it, the sides were equally impressive, offering fresh and delicious options that complemented the main dishes beautifully. It’s clear that the kitchen staff take pride in their work, as every plate that came out was crafted with care. The ambiance at Sycamore Inn is classic and cozy, with a historical charm that adds to the character of the space. However, I did notice that the noise level was a bit louder than usual, which made conversation slightly challenging at times. But the lively environment also brought a sense of energy and warmth to the restaurant. As for value, Sycamore Inn Steakhouse is priced reasonably for the quality of food and service provided. The experience felt worth every dollar, and I would gladly return for another memorable evening.
