A chic and sophisticated décor provides the setting for our distinctive "world cuisine", a provocative mix of zesty influences that creates a delightful dining experience in Palm Springs, California. Plush high-backed semicircular banquettes surround our dining room and offer comfortable and private seating. The cuisine has a light, exotic feel with an emphasis on Pacific Rim specialties, from Chilean Sea Bass baked in Banana Leaves or Kahlua-Barbecued Pork Chops to all sorts of tasty tapas, salads, wood-fired pizzas, and desserts. The Coral Seas Lounge, a hip mid-century style bar is lined with sexy black leather bar-stools and is reminiscent of the upbeat lounges of old Palm Springs. It wraps around the dining room and leads outside to a lush, tropical, 2000 square foot dining patio where a variety of specialty cocktails and old-school favorites are mixed - an ideal place where friends gather and martinis are sipped under the starlit desert sky.

                                Amazing service, food, atmosphere- everything! I love Tropicale! We sat outside (if you want a nice quieter experience, sit inside. It is very comfortable there!) We had to try the Coconut martini which did not disappoint! Salmon benedict was fabulous. The patio is VERY dog friendly and there were a lot of people with pets, and they were all well behaved when we were there. This is definitely a place with regular customers and more of a neighborhood restaurant - which we loved. It's a must try if you are in PS.

                                It's one of my favorite dining places in Palm Springs. It is always a goto place when I have guests visiting me . Tropicalle has an old-school and current vibe. Never disappoints.

                                Cons: Our mistake was to go on the weekend. Groups of screaming tourists. The food was served just ‘cool’, not warm or hot - always disappointing. Pros: Drinks great!! Service great!! Very pretty!

                                If I could give The Tropicale 10 stars, I would. As you enter you will find the restaurant to be very inviting with the warm colors, decor and overall relaxing feel. You will be met with a staff that is very attentive and professional. The chef is not only creative with the dishes, they are always delicious and presented beautifully, and you get ample portions! One of the greatest things I like about dining here, not only is the food impeccable, but the ambience makes it so comfortable and welcoming.

                                Walked here for dinner last night from our hotel, staying at the Thompson. Have to say, everything was enjoyable. Tasty food, friendly service, nice atmosphere. We would definitely come here again.
