A chic and sophisticated décor provides the setting for our distinctive "world cuisine", a provocative mix of zesty influences that creates a delightful dining experience in Palm Springs, California. Plush high-backed semicircular banquettes surround our dining room and offer comfortable and private seating. The cuisine has a light, exotic feel with an emphasis on Pacific Rim specialties, from Chilean Sea Bass baked in Banana Leaves or Kahlua-Barbecued Pork Chops to all sorts of tasty tapas, salads, wood-fired pizzas, and desserts. The Coral Seas Lounge, a hip mid-century style bar is lined with sexy black leather bar-stools and is reminiscent of the upbeat lounges of old Palm Springs. It wraps around the dining room and leads outside to a lush, tropical, 2000 square foot dining patio where a variety of specialty cocktails and old-school favorites are mixed - an ideal place where friends gather and martinis are sipped under the starlit desert sky.

                                Mixed all around. Table not ready within 30 minutes of reservation, but friendly staff worked a plan “B”. Excellent bartender with quality cocktails but food was horrible - especially the steak and chicken entrees. Net, better options out there.

                                Service was great considering restaurant was packed to capacity. Food however was delivered lukewarm. Overall okay, but not the best meal we have experienced at Tropicale.

                                I’m always impressed by Tropical! It’s a great restaurant and a Palm Springs treasure. Delicious food and amazing staff!!

                                While we don’t frequent Tropicale, when we do “think” to visit the establishment we always say “We need to come here more often!”. The food and service is always excellent, awesome value for the money! And the atmosphere is always relaxed, inviting while still being just a touch up-scale. We enjoyed an evening of appetizers, cocktails and dinner; eight of us! Not one suggestion for improvement. To top it all off, everyone had smiles on their faces. We have promised ourselves to not let our memories lapse and more frequently take advantage of all Tropicale has to offer!! I could name two or three other local establishments, all on Palm Canyon, that draw locals (us) and visitors. Tropicale is FAR superior in every aspect. You won’t be disappointed. I strongly suggest reservations.

                                Another fantastic consistent experience. We return whenever we get back to Palm Springs. We particularly like their new outdoor seating area.
