A chic and sophisticated décor provides the setting for our distinctive "world cuisine", a provocative mix of zesty influences that creates a delightful dining experience in Palm Springs, California. Plush high-backed semicircular banquettes surround our dining room and offer comfortable and private seating. The cuisine has a light, exotic feel with an emphasis on Pacific Rim specialties, from Chilean Sea Bass baked in Banana Leaves or Kahlua-Barbecued Pork Chops to all sorts of tasty tapas, salads, wood-fired pizzas, and desserts. The Coral Seas Lounge, a hip mid-century style bar is lined with sexy black leather bar-stools and is reminiscent of the upbeat lounges of old Palm Springs. It wraps around the dining room and leads outside to a lush, tropical, 2000 square foot dining patio where a variety of specialty cocktails and old-school favorites are mixed - an ideal place where friends gather and martinis are sipped under the starlit desert sky.

                                Tropical has been one of our favorite restaurants for years. Not sure what’s happening here, but the food has been subpar for our last three or four visits. Undercooked and cold last night.  Service remains exceptional.

                                We have owned a home in Palm Springs for eleven year's. One of our first finds was walking into Tropicale for dinner. What an extraordinary experience, that night and last night. It is like the old TV show Cheers "where everyone knows your name" or for sure your face! Thank you Ranz, Tony and all of the staff for treating is so well. It is always a joy to return to Tropicale for another fantastic meal with friends and family. See you again soon. Robert and Dianna

                                We were greeted by the staff as we came in the door. We were seated in a lovely and comfortable booth. Our food was delicious! We topped it off with a yummy Baked Alaska. Our server, Carissa, was wonderful and also, a friendly professional. We look forward to our return. Cecilia

                                This is my absolute favorite restaurant in Palm Springs. Always have an amazing time. Our waiter Kai was very friendly and professional.

                                Disappointed our party of 6 was seated at a 4-top + an added side chair. 3 people had to sit in 2 spaces. We had added a 6th person to our 6:30 reservation 1.5 hours before and would have expected to be accommodated or told there wasn’t enough space. We are locals who eat at this restaurant on a regular basis.

                                Cocktails were delicious, service was impeccable, food was great. The crispy goat cheese and beet salad always is our starter and it never disappoints.

                                The food and the service are consistently good. The atmosphere is lively and fun. This is a great “go to” place anytime I visit Palm Springs.
