Thank you for choosing The Twisted Tail!

High Top tables are only available on the weekends, and are located on the second floor. They are communal style tables, and you will get to enjoy the band after 8:15PM.

The Twisted Tail is a bi-level restaurant, bar and live music venue featuring a charcoal-fired grill, a wealth of bourbon selections and the rollicking ambiance of a "juke joint" (or old school Southern music hall). The inventive menu highlights ingredients in their simplest form, flame-broiled over live coals for rich, authentic flavor.

Inside a warm, welcoming dining space makes The Twisted Tail South Street’s best place to catch a band - and a bite.

Place was nice. Quick service. Waiter was nice. Food was okay. For my bill with what I got I thought it was way too expensive. Two diver scallops for $14. All in all for 3 people. 1 appetizer and 1 entre each. 3 total drinks for $230 including tip. Certainly for me too much for what we got for me.

They took so long to give us our food that we missed our comedy show. We got there at 7:45 and didn’t get our entree until 9:45. The food was also cold. I was very disappointed.

On a busy night service is slow. Great vibes, but if you don’t like loud live music, not the place for you.

This was our first time here. It’s restaurant week and the prix fixe menu was good. The service was quick, but our server was not very friendly - she gave off an air of not wanting to be there. And it was clearly a problem that we wanted to hang onto our drink menu - she wasn’t happy when we said we wanted to keep it. Then there was a discussion about few minutes later at the host stand, and the hostess came over, snatched up the drink menu, and abruptly said “We’ll keep this at the host stand - you can come and ask for it if you need it” and walked off. Very rude. I think that will keep us from coming back for dinner, although the band and vibe upstairs after dinner was very fun.

Went for restaurant week, and it was 4 courses for $40. Such a great value. Portions were good size and server was so nice and knowledgeable and even made several recommendations. Would return.

Sound levels were high only because there was a cool piano guy playing. seemed like a talent guy. glad he there. waiting staff a great and informative. food was delicious. will be returning with others soon.
