   Greeted promptly, politely and seated by the window, perfect the manager kept checking in politely to confirm everything was great.. Emma our server was the best server we had on this trip. Derek at Quattro was the runner up. Back to Emma and The Wildflower Restaurant at The Fairmont Chateau. Pleasant, relaxed, special restaurant. Great food, we had the chowder, beet salad, split the Main Special, "Chilean Sea Bass" and had one desert, Peanut Butter and some incredible ingredients (you need to go try it and read the menu yourself.) We will be back and we'll hope to see Emma again.

   Took over an hour and a half to get our food, then when it came, it was not good. The pasta was too al dente and the flavor of a lobster dish was very fishy. The waiter did try to make it better, but only after we asked about why it was taking so long. Not proactively letting us know or apologizing. Overall disappointing experience.

   Parking is free and easy if you park under the hotel and ask your server for a validation. We were seated quickly and asked about allergies, which were repeated back to us in confirmation and I appreciated that. Our server Amanda was warm and very attentive. The carpaccio and tartare were excellent starters followed by the duck and sablefish as mains. All excellent. We ordered a side of asparagus with no dressing on it and loved that too. Dessert was a chocolate bar with berries and (I think) yuzu snow which was excellent as well. Overall fantastic experience and will be returning on our next trip.

   Food was average at best. Beet salad was ok, salmon tartar was just barely ok, salmon entree was under cooked, short ribs had an awful sauce that didn’t go with the meat. Server was nice but not attentive. Whole place needs some TLC, it was a disappointing experience.

    Not a great night at the Wildflower but we did appreciate Haley jumping in to help and listening to our feedback. The night started with us having to find our server whilst several staff members were milling about ingoring us. Unfortunately the food was bland and a miss with the exception of the burrata salad and our dessert ( sticky date pudding perhaps? ). Also surprised how poor the wines by the glass options was. Overall, it felt like the Wildflower has lost its "mojo".
