We are The Wilmington - known locally as 'The Wilmo'

We’ve have had a bit of a face lift recently, not everything is new - if you’ve visited us in the past, you may remember us for having the best Sunday Roast in town. We can happily confirm that it’s back…but arguably, even better!

Head chef Jamie Cousins has taken the reigns, delivering an ever-evolving menu of globally-influenced dishes that celebrate the best of British ingredients as well as some very exciting specials. You can join us for brunch, lunch or dinner as well as that glorious Sunday Roast - come try it for yourself!

    A few moments walk from The Wilmington there is an NCP car park located just off Farringdon road. Several of the side streets in the area offer street parking. Please check parking restrictions before parking.

    Farringdon station is around 7-8 minutes walk away, and Angel underground station 14 minutes walk. There are a number of buses that stop very close to The Wilmington. Bus numbers 19 & 38 are the main routes offering easy access into the West End and through to Angel and East London.

    Such a lovely pub! The service was great, super friendly and efficient. The food was really good and it wasn't ridiculously expensive for a central London venue. Would recommend

    Can’t fault this place. Lovely staff, serving excellent food and in a great atmosphere! Food is a big departure from the all too often stodgy pub food which was refreshing, but also still had a couple of classic favourites. Oh and the wine list was seriously impressive for a pub. Deliciously Excellent!

    Had Sunday roast with the family , it’s was served pretty quickly, it would have been nice to have another veg accompanied with the other veg, I had the Pork which was delicious and fell apart when cut, 4 of the party had the Lamb which was nice but some was very underdone and could not be eaten, the veg option was delicious and the Chicken was also lovely, would definitely recommend the Sunday roasts and the staff were very attentive and lovely.

    Was meeting old friends and this place was perfect. Great welcoming staff and our table waiters were superb. Highly recommend this place. Well done the Wilmo.

    Chill and cozy atmosphere, very good food. Service is friendly but very professional. The Sunday roast there is a gem! Love that place!
