We are The Wilmington - known locally as 'The Wilmo'

We’ve have had a bit of a face lift recently, not everything is new - if you’ve visited us in the past, you may remember us for having the best Sunday Roast in town. We can happily confirm that it’s back…but arguably, even better!

Head chef Jamie Cousins has taken the reigns, delivering an ever-evolving menu of globally-influenced dishes that celebrate the best of British ingredients as well as some very exciting specials. You can join us for brunch, lunch or dinner as well as that glorious Sunday Roast - come try it for yourself!

    A few moments walk from The Wilmington there is an NCP car park located just off Farringdon road. Several of the side streets in the area offer street parking. Please check parking restrictions before parking.

    Farringdon station is around 7-8 minutes walk away, and Angel underground station 14 minutes walk. There are a number of buses that stop very close to The Wilmington. Bus numbers 19 & 38 are the main routes offering easy access into the West End and through to Angel and East London.

    Outstanding, nice relaxed vibe, very accommodating for children and the roast was superb, the staff were also very polite and professional

    The staff are super warm and friendly here each time we have visited. It’s a very posh looking pub internally and the food is delish. I had the lamb rump special today which was gorgeous. All the staff are honestly so lovely. They make you feel very welcome and happy! Most of all it’s good value in my books. You must visit if you are in the area great for business lunches too as they put you in a booth on request if available.

    This surpassed expectations. The service was the right balance of relaxed for a Sunday but helpful and friendly. The food was the best Sunday lunch I have had in a long time, as full of different flavours and great meat with decent roast potatoes. The cauliflower cheese an added side dish, just brilliant. Great wine list. All in all a really good place for Sunday lunch and a great atmosphere.

    First class Sunday lunch. Sunday roasts - both the beef and porchetta - were perfectly cooked and the blackboard special of rabbit and bacon pie w/cider was outstanding.

    A delicious Sunday roast, full of flavour and the cauliflower cheese was insane! The best roast i have had in London. Plus beautiful service from Graeme and a lovely pub. Thank you so much x
