Established in 1988, The WineSellar & Brasserie is San Diego's premiere destination for fine wine and exquisitely crafted locally sourced, organic fare.

With your meal, enjoy a bottle from the adjoining WineSellar boutique wine shop or choose a wine from our award-winning list.     We’ve never had a bad meal or bad experience over the 24 years that we have been coming here. A delightful place with excellent food and an ambiance where you can actually have a quiet conversation.

    This place has been a gem for the better part of 3 decades. Chef's have come and gone but it stays consistently great. Great food, outstanding service and the best wine list to value that you can find in the whole city. We had not been in a while and during dinner we had to ask ourselves why. Try it, you'll love it.

    Excellent bread, and perfect mushroom appetizer. Halibut (the fish of the day) was pretty good being reasonably moist. Mussels very tasty! Excellent wine and advice. Excellent (friendly and attentive) service. Worth coming back!

    The WineSellar remains one of the premier wining and dining locations in San Diego! The menu has a manageable, but varied and creative range of elegant California selections. I loved the amazingly tender and flavorful PEI mussels in smoked tomato sauce were, as well as the plum-sauce-basted half duck. My dining companion loved the salmon salad. Homemade gelato and ice cream are fabulous, as is the churro bread pudding. Of course, the highlight is the highly professional, impersonal staff, led by long-standing waitperson Morro, able assisted by Otto. Well worth a visit for special occasions, or even an evening where you just don’t wanna cook.

    Fantastic meal, the soup, the lamb, the balsamic strawberries. What a treat. Pricey, but what a treat. So glad I found this place near to my hotel. Great looking wine shop too. Will definitely come back again when back in the area.

    We haves dined many times at the Brasserie. The food is delicious and creative. Oscar is an amazing chef. Service is always top notch, friendly and professional. We will keep going back.
