I'll start with the positive, the sushi rolls were pretty filling. NOW let's get to the issue's. This was a birthday celebratory dinner that was booked through Open Table. The birthday lady chose this place based on the menu, ambience etc... we thought the staff would pay attention to the notes/request of their guest. I guess not! first of all I noted that this was a SPECIAL OCCASION - BIRHTDAY, and requested an acknowledgement, like most restaurants do! When the guest make them aware of the occasion. I guess the staff did not pay attention to the reservation ( I did tell them my name and that the reservation was made through "Open Table".), so as I watched the wait staff walk by our table to deliver and acknowledge someone else's birthday dessert , I waited for them to return to our table with the same - it never happened. HOW AKWARD ! Okay , next issue - On the sushi menu it list the ingredients , including Mango ( which is just what she wanted and large part of the decision to eat at the Thrive) but when the plate was served, we're looking for everything that the menu stated was included in the sushi roll and it was not, This was never brought to our attention as we placed the order. We asked for eel sauce - NOPE. We ordered salads with our sushi and asked for ranch dressing - NOPE . I asked for a particular bourbon ( that was also listed on the menu) NOPE. I would NOT be interested in another experience with Thrive! .OMG , I wonder if the owner/manager given this type of service how well would that go over ?

Beautiful restaurant that’s decor is more on the modern side. Went on a Saturday nite and there was not a lot of patrons so we were a little worried about the quality of food and service especially since neighboring restaurants seemed packed. Much to our delight the sashimi was fresh and tasty and the shrimp and grits entree and the short rib entree met our expectations!

Overall was good food! The sushi tasted really fresh! Great tuna, great rice had the eel roll. My only opportunity I can see for this restaurant personally is that the booths were not very comfortable for a lower back. Simple change could be to request a chair instead. sushi

I recently had dinner at Thrive before a concert at State Farm Arena, and I loved the restaurant's atmosphere! A surge of people going to the concert (their themed outfits gave it away) came around the same time, and I could see the staff doing their best to be inviting to everyone who walked in! Some customers seemed frustrated by the wait, but it seemed they failed to understand that Thrive is a sit-down restaurant, not fast food. The food is prepared and served in the order it’s placed, so timing your reservation is important if you’re on a schedule! Thankfully, I planned ahead and had plenty of time to enjoy our meal. I was able to eat, have a few drinks, and chill until it was time to head to the show. In fact, the dinner was so amazing that I went back with my husband!

Kitchen was super slow, but the concert downtown made it a very busy night so I don’t hold that against them. Food was excellent

Staff was very friendly and food delivered to our table in a reasonable time! It was delicious and cooked well! The lamb chops are sooo good!

Waited more than 30 minutes before server came to table (not crowded, either). Ordered drinks and appetizers: waited another 20+ minutes before appetizers arrived but still no drinks OR water. Dinner arrived with the drinks (before appetizers were cleared/completed) — including items requested left out due to allergies. Food taken away for another 20 minutes. When correct food arrived, we ordered drink refills; server never came back with our requested refills. Only remembered order when we asked for check. Food tasty but experience ruined with seriously terrible service. Eat at bar if possible!
