Toku’s cuisine is predominantly Japanese with influences from China, Korea, and South East Asia. Ingredients and cooking techniques throughout the world create the Modern Asian menu. Owners Gillis and George Poll have dined all over the world, and have come across a variety of dishes that have really impressed them, “the best of the best.” According to Gillis, “We put together our favorites and added our own unique twists to them.” George emphasizes the menu’s ease and variety. “It’s a straightforward, casually written menu which allows you to dine any way that you’d like.” Guests may enjoy traditional meals with an appetizer, entree and dessert, or dine exclusively on sushi. Others can order cocktails and a table full of appetizers and skewers to share. “The menu is set up for sharing,” he confirms. Anything goes when ordering at Toku.

Whether you’re considering a corporate gathering for 30 with a presentation and dinner, a special sit down dinner celebration for 50 or a cocktail party for 100, Toku’s private dining area is the perfect place to entertain your guests. Our spacious restaurant is well-suited for all kinds of parties and corporate events. Our entire facility provides room for up to 150 who wish to enjoy a sit-down function and up to 250 for cocktails. Larger outdoor cocktail parties can be done with the additional cost of a tent.

    Had the lunch special. Food was extremely disappointing. Hot food served cold. Salad was smaller than usual and absolutely tasteless. I come here quite often, and always had a good meal. Not today! Don’t think I’ll be back! Just not worth it! Other good restaurants to go to!

    I love Toku, definitely my favorite restaurant in the area and never disappoints!! The food, the ambiance, and the energy is always top tier!! I highly recommend the Sweet Soy Marinated skirt steak, and the banana wonton!!

    Toku is your go-to sushi and modern Asian spot in the North Shore area. I highly recommend the restaurant for its ambiance (the outdoor seating on a spring or summer day is a must!), food and drinks. 10/10

    waiter never came by to fill our water glasses. coffee was served cold. could have been a better experience for such an expensive lunch

    My girlfriend and I went for a very early dinner at 6:00pm. Besides not being able to hear each other, we felt very rushed. First, the lettuce use to have a lot more chicken, but now the dish can’t feed a cat and for what they charge, is ridiculous. The crispy tuna rice was soggy and this is the second time in 4 weeks I experienced the same thing. It’s supposed to be crispy. The Asian salad, which we shared, was allllllll lettuce. I could have cut up a head of lettuce and shredded it for 2.00. The chicken was scarce and it was very dry. I am not one to return my plate or ask for changes. They need to step up their game.. I am not coming back to Toku. There are so many other places that have better food and better proteins.
