    Tommy Bahama was one of two great dining experiences over two weeks on the Big Island. The food is always consistent at Tommy Bahama, we all loved our meals and beverages. I don't drink alcohol and the bartender made me a non-alcoholic drink that was refreshing. Our server was slammed with a big table wanting to order just a few minutes after we were sat, she did a wonderful job of ensuring we were taken care of and other staff pitched in to make our dinner really nice. We will definitely dine here again next time we’re on the Big Island.

    It is now my son’s favorite restaurant. I don’t know what we’ll do after we return home. I guess we will have to visit the restaurant again.

    You are paying (quite a bit) for the ambience and there TB delivers. The patio at sunset is delightful. Prices non steak are typical for Hawaii —very expensive (three entrees two cocktails and one mock tail for $210). The food, while decent, is nothing special and not commensurate with price. Mahi mahi was lost in the crust and not particularly flavorful or well plated. Server was enthusiastic and reasonably attentive. All in all a nice spot for drinks and casual fare at  steep prices.

    We love Tommy’s ! I could go there everyday. The food is great, the service is great and the prices are reasonable. We will be back.

    As always, the food was excellent. The Pina Colada cake is the best! Faith does an outstanding job and is so friendly. Love that the Manager always comes around to our table also to check on our meals. Highly recommend!

    All together a very pleasant experience for my 75th birthday celebration. They even gave us the table we had asked for on our reservation and comped me a desert!
