    It was for refreshing to have a dinner in the city where you could hear the person across the table from you. Very rare in Washington DC these days. The food was excellent, and our server was thoughtful and appropriately attentive. One of my pet peeves is that in most restaurants untrained bus boys are yanking plates off the table while others are eating. This goes on throughout the whole end of the dinner service and it's irritating AF. Either this staff is trained properly or because it was slower. No one was trying to turn the table. Either way, I appreciated not feeling rushed. This was the Thursday night and it was a little rainy, so the restaurant was pretty quiet. When I come back next time, I hope to have another quiet evening in the dining room. It was really nice to not have to scream across the table to have a conversation.

    Crab cake dinner was just okay; crabs cake had to much filler and mixture of vegetables wasn’t a good accompaniment.

    Different than previous experiences here. Was expecting brunch. Seems they no longer offer that. Looked like the restaurant was remodeling. There were boxes everywhere.

    The food was good and had a nice presentation. Service was excessively slow, un personable and verging on rude - no smiles, interrupting me when I was trying to speak and so forth. It was a cool night and they should have had heaters on the patio. I wore a coat and was shivering. The interior is under construction and in shambles and that should have been revealed prior to our booking a reservation. The price relative to the overall experience was at least 25% too expensive. The yachts parked along the waterfront completely obscured our view of the water and totally spoiled any potential ambience. There was nothing compelling that would make me recommend the restaurant nor would I go back.

    Enjoyed a nice lunch overlooking the Potomac River. My partner enjoyed her salmon salad, which included a generous portion of salmon. I opted for the crab cake sandwich with fries, which made for a nice lunch.
