We were there early on a quiet Sat evening. We had a nice view of the water, wait staff were attentive and friendly. The food was delicious, oysters, seafood with grits, branzino. And we enjoyed the desserts too. The food came in a timely manner. And when we accidentally tipped on a total that already included the tip, the waiter caught us as we were leaving to let us know and offered to correct it. It was a great experience for our group of friends and family.

Great location, happy with the food the service and the prices, but the whole place looks and feels like it is in desperate need of repairs. Chairs are wobbly, chips and nicks in floors and walls, bathrooms a little dingy, but it has its charms. Good for families and casual evenings. Wouldn’t bring a client or date.

This place usually doesn’t miss. We had an early Saturday reservation, so restaurant was fairly empty. I ordered the “freshly shucked “ oysters. I asked the waiter were they as advertised. He responded “we shuck daily”. I asked “today?” He just nodded and smiled. Long story short- They were not. They weren’t bad though. I also the crab dip. It took a while to come out , but it it came , the top was so burnt that I couldn’t recognize what it was. After I pealed back top layer, it was all good. Now to the drinks. I had 2 lemon drop martinis. Whoever the bartender was on 12/7/2024 at noon. Kudos to you because those 2 drinks were on point . In short, shout out to the the bartender and waiter . This review could have easily been 1 star.

Our family celebrated Christmas early last night at Tony & Joes and it was fantastic all the way around! The food was delicious and came out quickly, plus the service was superb! We love the ambiance too - gorgeous poinsettias really set the Christmas mood!

Wouldn’t take my Groupon deal, said I had to wait 24 hrs after purchase- this not a rule of Groupon. Food was subpar and overpriced, would not recommend.

Great setting for people watching as you indulge in decent seafood. The southern boil seemed endless and was full of delectable goodies. It would be good if they introduce a fish board.

I enjoyed my time at Tony and Joes on Thanksgiving Day 2024. The host, staff and manager were very pleasant and eager to see that my family and myself had enjoyed our visit. The food was well prepared and I enjoyed the view of the Potomac river. I will come back again.

Food was not prepared well because it was very bland somewhat like airline food. I have been going there for over 30 years and never had poorly prepared food before. Maybe buffet is not their thing anymore
