Trattoria Aroma-Williamsville is known for rustic, regional Italian cooking in a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere. Guests from Western New York and beyond have enjoyed our homemade bread, pasta and menu specialties for over 20 years. Enjoy our famous freshly made Napolitan Pizzas, Pasta Bolognese, Veal Saltimboca and daily Chef's specials. We feature a full bar along with the only all Italian Wine List in the area. Very long wait. Reservation was for 8:30p left the restaurant by 11:30p because of the times in between visits from the server. They served starter bread before meals but we were there for 20 plus minutes before being offered the starter bread. Server seemed a bit dated for the service she was needed for. Manager had to help her with service (we received free desserts).

I went for Valentines day and waited for about 10 minutes after reservation time to be seated (expected as it's a holiday) and the server was generous but the food was genuinely just god awful. We started with the lamb chops which were completely overcooked and brown, my bolognese tasted like a stew and half of the bowl was liquid, and my girlfriends carbonara was basically a large bowl of noodles, peas and very thin & flavorless cream sauce. Will not be returning.

From the outside the place looks like any other diner, but when you walk inside your transported to a quant Italian bar, we where seated by an older gentlemen who I am guessing is the owner, very nice man. We are seated at the booth next to the bar and had the bar tender as our server, in most cases I hate this due to the busyness of the bartender during rush dinner service, but even though he was busy he gave us the perfect about of attention and service. Thank you for an amazing dinner for my wife and mines 20th wedding anniversary.
