                                          Another exceptional evening at Monica's. Nubia provided us with kind and welcoming hospitality. We ordered specials - both veal dishes - and were beyond satisfied with the creative flavors and high quality ingredients. The chef's continue to exceed our high expectations!

                                          We had a wonderful time, our server was great and attentive. We met a wonderful group of guys from England. They were gracious and kind and bought my wife and I a nice bottle of wine to help us celebrate our 28th wedding anniversary. Overall a wonderful night.

                                          Had a reservation for 8:15, was seated just after 9pm. Staff was not attentive, took 20 minutes for a waiter to come to our table after being seated despite the fact that there were more than enough servers walking around. Food was great but not worth the price or the wait.

                                          Food was great, but no substitutions? Really? My friend was gluten free and I have a seafood allergy. It really limits the menu. It was EXTREMELY LOUD!

                                          I really can’t even rate the food…we never got it. We were going to the Bruins game and it was taking so long we cancelled our order and left. It took about 15-20 min to take our drink order so we put our food in at the same time. Bread came about 15 minutes after that. Still no salads so we called it. It was very busy and our time was limited but it just took too long for everything. Maybe I’ll come back when I have no where to be and can wait all night.

                                          We went out for a 5pm reservation ahead of a 7:30 show. The restaurant let us know that it would be about 1 hr for entrees as they were serving a party of 20 ahead of us. At 715 we had to ask for the check with no entree as the kitchen was too backed up.

                                          I was visiting Boston with my boyfriend and wanted to check out an Italian restaurant so we went to Monica’s Trattoria and overall we had a good experience. We started with some drinks. I got an espresso martini and my boyfriend got the strawberry basil martini and both were delicious. We got calamari for an appetizer which was really good. For dinner I got the bistecca alfedo, which I will be dreaming about forever. It was soooo delicious!!! The steak had amazing flavor and the pasta with the alfredo sauce was perfection. I’d go back just for this pasta dish. My boyfriend got the spicy parmigiana alla vodka which was average. I’ve had better penne vodka and chicken parm many other places. The sauce was more of a spicy tomato than a vodka in my opinion. We wouldn’t order this again. Overall a really good experience, I’d definitely come back here!
