Trattoria Diane is a Roman-style, family-run restaurant. We have developed our menu and space to reflect the casual, inviting and friendly spots we have enjoyed on our trips to the Eternal City. The menu offers our take on the traditional Roman menu with its verdure, fritti, antipasto, primi and secondi. Chef/Owner John Durkin prides himself on maintaining a standard of excellence that has put us on the top of fine dining on Long Island. Come wine and dine where you can enjoy

                            We were there with out-of-town guests. My husband had Portobello Mushroom appetizer that was tasty. I had Tuna Tartare small plate as my main and it was perfect. My husband got a Ravioli he really enjoyed. Our friends both had Fettuccini Veal Bolognese and enjoyed. We shared 2 desserts--three-berry tart and pecan pie. Both were delicious. Our friends said, "We'd come here again.

                            Felt very rushed and did not like being placed upstairs. I was excited to go back but this recent experience left me very disappointed. I was fine in an hour. Not worth the price I paid to be rushed as if we were in a diner. I expect better service
