Born in Naples, Italy Salvatore DiMeo has continued on the family tradition of cooking traditional neopolitan fare of the highest quality at moderate prices. Originating in 1969, Trattoria DiMeo has been serving the Roslyn area for 50 years!

There’s a reason Trat has been around forever. It’s consistently fantastic. Over the years, I’ve been there too many times to count and have never had a bad meal. The staff is great and the specials innovative. If for whatever reason you crave something not on the menu, I’d bet they’d make it and it would be perfect. Will remain in my rotation of best local restaurants.

New Year’s Eve can be a daunting restaurant experience ! Not here ! Seated promptly and greeted by our waiter. Regular menu offerings and some specials that the waiter recited. One of our party had some very particular requests. No problem. Delicious meal, amazing desserts and not rushed at all! Must try if you haven’t already!

Delicious Italian food. Never disappoints. Kale salad special was especially delicious. Followed by chicken piccata also delicious

Nice to know, I can go to a restaurant and expect to be seated on time, have outstanding service and food. So happy we had a roundtable for eight. Never felt rushed even though we were the last to leave.

I visit this restaurant once a month. It’s consistent on every level. Creative and delicious food, excellent service, comfortable environment and easy parking. It’s highly recommended

Late dinner, after a show. Food was great mostly ate off of menu. Only issue was noise level, had to yell to be heard. Hard to have conversations with friends.
