True Food Kitchen was founded in 2008 by Dr. Andrew Weil, world renowned Doctor of integrated medicine and creator of the anti-inflammatory food pyramid, with one simple purpose – to create a restaurant that serves delicious food and drinks without compromising on taste for health, or health for taste.     Total Valentines Day Disappointment! I haven't been to True Food in at least 2 years. The food is not as good as it used to be. I had my usual ancient grains bowl; I had it with salmon this time. The salmon tasted like it was straight out of the freezer section in the grocery store. The food is just not the same as it used to be. Disappointing.

    Not being familiar with TFK I was expecting something more niche. And the location description was “Brookhaven”. So, I’m expecting something small in Brookhaven, which we haven’t visited since before it became so popular. Then, OpenTable sends the address to Waze and I realize we are headed to Lenox Square. Based on Lenox’s recent reputation it’s not a wonder why they call it something else. I was pleasantly surprised. The food was quite good (Edamame Dumplings app, Tenderloin entree) and the service was impeccable. We’ll be back.

    The food is great, and I always go out of my way to eat here when in the Atlanta area, but our server rushed us all evening. The restaurant was practically empty due to bad weather today, so they had lots of open seating. Before we were finished our main course the waitress was dropping off the dessert menu and taking plates away from one of the other diners at our table (party of 4 out for a business dinner). Everyone felt rushed and then she started asking if we wanted the check. We sat down at 6PM, ordered drinks and appetizers and this was 6:40 so not like we were sitting there all evening. I definitely recommend eating here, but hopefully they will re-train some of the staff to not rush dinner for guests. We all left feeling frustrated with the experience and it ruined an otherwise nice evening out.

    I have always enjoyed the turkey burger. It was good but not as good in past. The sweet potato hash and iced tea were great.

    The food was fantastic, as always. Every time we come, the service takes a long time. It takes a long time for the waiter to take our order and then a long time to receive food and then a long time to bring our check. As a casual spot at the mall, I feel service should move faster. But we appreciate the wholesome ingredients and will come back again.
