Tuscarora Mill, the cornerstone of Market Station, has been serving fine food & wine to its guests since 1985. Originally an operating grain mill, Tuscarora Mill has maintained the rustic interior & charm of the mill. Chef Julian Gonzales’s seasonal menus use the freshest of local produce. Signature dishes include Sesame Roasted Salmon, Crab Cakes & prime cuts of beef. To compliment the menu, Tuscarora Mill has an impressive wine list, winner of the Wine Spectacular Award of Excellence for the past 10 years. The in-house bakery, SouthStreet Under, prepares savory breads & decadent desserts daily. As always the food and service were amazing. Do to evening plans, we had to eat early (we’re too young to have dinner at 4:15!) but that made for a nice quiet dinner.

Lovely St Valentines dinner, food was tasty, well prepared and presented. Tuscarora Mill is rustic rustic and comfortable. I could tell the service was a little stretched because we did not get excellent attention but the servers were working hard and doing their best. I would certainly come back and recommend the restaurant to others.

Food was excellent. Three course pricing for Valentine’s Day was unexpected and was a very good value. Difficult to get a reservation even though there were lots of tables open when we arrived. When we arrived we were taken to the log cabin section, requiring a walk outside in the cold. While we didn’t mind, calling that out for those who might or have mobility issues. I do wish we would’ve had the option to choose the cabin or the main dining area, but we weren’t at booking. The little bathroom in the cabin is convenient but definitely needs a remodel. I’m being picky with those details and they were easily overlooked with the excellent, local, quality food and great service by Tony H.

I love the ambiance of Tuskie’s, but my meals are always hit or miss here. The price point does not match the quality and quantity of the food. Our server was wonderful and offered a discount on my fried oysters which were not fried but raw. The goat cheese dip was average. The wedge salad was good. I just don’t think I will be back.
