Ulele (pronounced you-lay-lee) celebrates the vibrant fusion of ingredients from Florida waters and land once home to many Native Americans, including the legendary young princess Ulele.

Located on the Hillsborough River in Tampa Heights, 400 yards from the Straz Center for the Performing Arts. Indoor and outdoor waterfront dining. Lunch and dinner daily. Closed Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Featuring intricately flavored, visually appealing dishes prepared on our 10' round barbacoa grill.

Ulele operates in the lovingly re-imagined 1903 Tampa Heights Water Works building, which also includes its Ulele Spring Brewery to provide a number of craft beers on tap. Next door to Water Works Park.

Casual attire is fine, but we don’t allow sleeveless shirts on men in the indoor dining rooms.

    Have been here many times. Today’s visit was for lunch midweek so not at capacity. My order for blackened fish came out 10-15 mins after my husband’s order. The fish was hot but the rice was room temperature. Every thing was tasty though.

    Exceptional food, the charbroiled oysters are amazing. Very attentive service and love the light from the windows. Ambiance is world class.

    Very good service and the pork shank is amazing, the pineapple upside down toast has the best rum sauce ever in it.

    This is one of my favorite Tampa restaurants! I've never had a negligible dish. The service and atmosphere is great. Usually I have a hard time hearing, but it was a full restaurant tonight, andI was able to hear the table conversation. Can't speak more highly of this place.

    Service and food were fabulous. Menu broad enough for everybody. Noise level low!! What an awesome location on the water. Free parking! Only complaint had a lot of trouble scanning the validated ticket to leave the parking lot. Scanner not working well.

    We’ve eaten at Ulele many times and as usual we were not disappointed. The chargrilled oysters were exceptional and The Wedge salad was very good, as was the remainder of our dinner.

    The food was excellent! My husband and I both loved our entrees and the Honeymoon Lager. We even got dessert and the bourbon butter cake was decadent. Our server was very kind and attentive. I believe his name was Austin. He constantly kept our drinks filled and made sure we were taken care of. We live 40 minutes away and we would drive back!
