Ulele (pronounced you-lay-lee) celebrates the vibrant fusion of ingredients from Florida waters and land once home to many Native Americans, including the legendary young princess Ulele.

Located on the Hillsborough River in Tampa Heights, 400 yards from the Straz Center for the Performing Arts. Indoor and outdoor waterfront dining. Lunch and dinner daily. Closed Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Featuring intricately flavored, visually appealing dishes prepared on our 10' round barbacoa grill.

Ulele operates in the lovingly re-imagined 1903 Tampa Heights Water Works building, which also includes its Ulele Spring Brewery to provide a number of craft beers on tap. Next door to Water Works Park.

Casual attire is fine, but we don’t allow sleeveless shirts on men in the indoor dining rooms.

    Ulele is my favorite restaurant to visit when I am in Tampa. The food is always amazing and the cocktails are fantastic. Already looking forward to my next visit.

    Location is fabulous, inside is extremely noisey, difficult to carry a conversation. Food was adequate. Had shrimp appetizer that was way over cooked and chewy, meatloaf was fair but very salty. Worse thing was I had to pay $50 to park in their lot. Server did not mention validation and I didn't notice until I was already in a long line trying to exit the parking lot. Total rip off. I will never return.

    Ren was our waitress and she was amazing! Her recommendations were so great and so delicious! She also recommend a DELICIOUS bourbon cake which was 10/10!

    For the first time in over 20 visits I was not able to give 5 stars. We were a party of 4 and one entree was under cooked (the Gouda Grouper) one order came out wrong (ordered the pork shank and the tomahawk was served). Everything else was great. We love Ulele and will be back for sure.
