Ulele (pronounced you-lay-lee) celebrates the vibrant fusion of ingredients from Florida waters and land once home to many Native Americans, including the legendary young princess Ulele.

Located on the Hillsborough River in Tampa Heights, 400 yards from the Straz Center for the Performing Arts. Indoor and outdoor waterfront dining. Lunch and dinner daily. Closed Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Featuring intricately flavored, visually appealing dishes prepared on our 10' round barbacoa grill.

Ulele operates in the lovingly re-imagined 1903 Tampa Heights Water Works building, which also includes its Ulele Spring Brewery to provide a number of craft beers on tap. Next door to Water Works Park.

Casual attire is fine, but we don’t allow sleeveless shirts on men in the indoor dining rooms.

    Not as good a usual. Baked oysters had grit. We ordered 2 dozen for $98. Waiter did not discount or offer anything in its place. String beans with way too much garlic. It will be awhile til we consider going back.

    Always a great time here We bought our dog out for a late 3rd birthday dinner, she was a little people shy even though everyone wants to come say hi Was a little chilly on the patio However Skylar our server was very acommodating, had Jake and a few others come out to get the outdoor heater working. My hubby’s favorite the meatloaf never disappoints Ravyn enjoyed her doggie burger’s And my filet was perfectly cooked. As chilly as it was today the bacon maple is always a good finale. Will have visitors in town in a couple of weeks this is one of our favorite places to bring our guests.

    Very loud indoors, service was slow and food is good. Ice Creams were worth trying.

    It was our first time here. We were celebrating my husband’s birthday. Everything was amazing. We made reservations but we were able to be seated early. Our waiter, Red, was amazing. The food was delicious. The ambience was great. I look forward to coming back!

    Very loud. Next time I’d would specially ask for a table that does not overlook the kitchen. Noisy and you come out smelling like the kitchen.

    It was a great meal, and the atmosphere was fun! Loved the braised short ribs and the seafood risotto! You must get the bourbon butter cake!

    I have dined at this restaurant in the past and this is one of my favorites. The food and service is always great. I am starting to notice that restaurants are allowing patrons to bring unauthorized dogs into the restaurant. I am a dog owner and I would not bring my dog to a restaurant. Please consider setting aside dining space/area for those that bring their dogs and also inform other patrons if you will be seating them by someone that has a dog in the restaurant.
