Ulele (pronounced you-lay-lee) celebrates the vibrant fusion of ingredients from Florida waters and land once home to many Native Americans, including the legendary young princess Ulele.

Located on the Hillsborough River in Tampa Heights, 400 yards from the Straz Center for the Performing Arts. Indoor and outdoor waterfront dining. Lunch and dinner daily. Closed Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Featuring intricately flavored, visually appealing dishes prepared on our 10' round barbacoa grill.

Ulele operates in the lovingly re-imagined 1903 Tampa Heights Water Works building, which also includes its Ulele Spring Brewery to provide a number of craft beers on tap. Next door to Water Works Park.

Casual attire is fine, but we don’t allow sleeveless shirts on men in the indoor dining rooms.

    We had an amazing experience as usual. The service was exceptional- Josh was attentive and very knowledgeable. He made great recommendations that were taken with great success. The food was absolutely delicious.

    Once again, a truly memorable experience We were seated on time and greeted by our waiter within minutes. As usual, the food was great. At our table, we had pork chops , ribeye, and strip steak. Everything was perfectly cooked to our preferences. The fried green tomatoes, as an appetizer may have been the best fried green tomatoes we have ever had Ivan, our waiter was amazing. There when needed, but not intrusive. Definitely will be coming back soon.

    it was sooooo loud in there - but as people left we were able to talk fairly normally instead of having to yell at each other. all our fish dishes were excellent :) okra fries are always a hit or miss - either soggy and greasy or unchewable - we had to send back but second batch was better. They are just not as desirable as they used to be. Love it there however :) We had a very nice time per usual. :)

    We had a delicious meal. AJ our server did a great job. The wine bottles were fairly priced. The food was all delicious. The pork chop, the three sisters veggie mushroom, seafood in a very flavorful broth. Excellent desserts too.

    Our first visit to Ulele. We were celebrating our anniversary. Service was attentive and helpful. We LOVED the chili and the jalepeno corn muffins!! I had a wonderful entree of Grouper and my husband ordered meatloaf. His meatloaf was barely warm and was the one downside to the meal. Overall, a good experience and a lovely location in Tampa.
