Ulele (pronounced you-lay-lee) celebrates the vibrant fusion of ingredients from Florida waters and land once home to many Native Americans, including the legendary young princess Ulele.

Located on the Hillsborough River in Tampa Heights, 400 yards from the Straz Center for the Performing Arts. Indoor and outdoor waterfront dining. Lunch and dinner daily. Closed Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Featuring intricately flavored, visually appealing dishes prepared on our 10' round barbacoa grill.

Ulele operates in the lovingly re-imagined 1903 Tampa Heights Water Works building, which also includes its Ulele Spring Brewery to provide a number of craft beers on tap. Next door to Water Works Park.

Casual attire is fine, but we don’t allow sleeveless shirts on men in the indoor dining rooms.

    Very loud. Next time I’d would specially ask for a table that does not overlook the kitchen. Noisy and you come out smelling like the kitchen.

    It was a great meal, and the atmosphere was fun! Loved the braised short ribs and the seafood risotto! You must get the bourbon butter cake!

    It was ok very packed so service and seating were slow. Food was ok at best

    All main dishes and desserts were delicious. Appetizers not too much but were great. Totally recommend the drinks. Good place to spend NYE.

    Always a fantastic meal and great atmosphere!! Seated immediately at my reservation time on New Years Eve dinner. Service is usually 5⭐️- our waiter missed the Mark— I know it’s just an anomaly!

    Went here for NYE dinner. Food came out incredibly fast and was amazing. Cocktails were great as well.

    Got in before our reservation time. Great server. Jacob was helpful and attentive Yummy roasted oysters and a Spanish Chardonnay to start. Then Crackling Pork Shank and Meatloaf entrees. Both great. Only thing I’d change is cooking the green beans a little longer. Desert as a shared pineapple upside down cake with coconut ice cream. Next time I’ll order an extra scoop of the ice cream. A little louder than normal as the New Years Eve DJ from Armature Works was heavy on the bass. All in all another amazing meal.
