Uli's Restaurant is a White Rock institution. Opened in 1986 by Uli Blume, it was one of White Rock's original waterfront restaurants and quickly became a favourite among locals for its great food and friendly atmosphere. Uli's son Tyson took over operations in 2008 and he picked up right where his father left off – providing the White Rock waterfront with a fun and relaxed place to enjoy a vibrant atmosphere, stunning water views, refreshingly simple food, an extensive international beer list, and a diverse selection of wines. Chef Jennie Silk is also making quite an impression on locals as they flock for her impeccable local flavours on the menu.

    Uli’s is our go to on the beach. We’ve been going there when Uli’s was the instigator for an impromptu dance party. The food is consistently delicious! Service was excellent Value is still there for great food.

    The staff was exceptional and very attentive to our group. The food was great, everything was good. They make their own hamburger which is not common and gives the burgers added flavour. I am not sure $30 Burger is value but its was enjoyable and I would go again!

    We sat at a table next to the window and it was absolutely wonderful! Impeccable service and truly delicious food! The portions are a decent size, so an empty stomach is recommended. I’ll definitely be returning!

    The waitstaff were very friendly, but overall we weren’t served our food for over an hour after sitting down. There was maintenance being done with some loud vacuuming being done right by us which was very loud while eating.

    This was our third visit to Uli's and the food, cocktails and service did not disappoint. However, despite having made a reservation well in advanced, we were originally seated at the worst table in the restaurant (walkway from kitchen and near front door), and we had to ask multiple times to be seated in a more preferable location, which was excellent. It was odd that we needed to persevere to be seated at a more preferable location, considering the restaurant was not full.

    Food was excellent. We had paella that was made we care and was the perfect consistency. We will be back.

    As usual, the service was very good. The fried chicken I ordered was good, although the gravy needed more seasoning. The grilled Caesar salad was delicious, unfortunately the $18 price tag for the portion size was disappointing. Uli's is my favorite restaurant in White Rock, and I will come back again and again.

    Our experience was perfect. By far one of the best Caesar Salads I have ever had! Well Done! Our server was a delight, and very knowledgeable about wines and the menu. We will be back!
