Valenza is a cozy, upscale Italian eatery in Brookhaven. It takes its name from a small village in the Piedmonte region of Northern Italy. Valenza is well known throughout the world for its artisan jewelry manufacturing which has earned it the nickname “city of gold”. The cuisine at VALENZA is inspired by the diverse culture of Northern Italy. Executive Chef Matt Swickerath’s focus is on classic and modern cooking methods using fresh seasonal and local ingredients to create a classic Italian menu with an updated culinary touch. The menu features a variety of antipasti, pasta, risotto and Italian entrees. Valenza has the heart and spirit of a cozy and warm Italian village café in an upscale setting. The dining room features venetian plastered walls with rustic oak and pine woods. Experience the warmth and elegance of Valenza when dining under the antique European candle chandeliers. Valenza offers a wonderful private dining room with seating for 30 guests.

Everything was fabulous as always the only thing I would possibly suggest as we felt a little rushed. Our waiter was wonderful, but maybe a little over attentive, and we wanted to relax a little bit, but on the whole , valenza never disappoints.pappadelle amazing as always

Valneza is a great neighborhood gem. The service is always good and the food is excellent. Had the chicken parm special and it was delighthful.

Great experience as usual with dinner, had a delicious beet salad followed by a butternut squash ravioli and delicious saltimbocca. Dinner was great, service was spot on and in and out in about 45 minutes. Valet parking a plus for convenience. Always one of our go-to’s for a reason! Will be back again soon!

Caleb was an excellent server and well-acquainted with menu and specials and offered help in making selections. Food was all delicious and espresso martini was perfect.

We make it to Valenza every month or two and always have a great experience. The pasta is exceptional and I usually enjoy their specials. Last night we tried the tiramisu for the first time and I regret knowing about that. It was so good! I feel like I will have to order it every time we return now. I asked and they said they make it fresh everyday. We always start with the bread, I think the focaccia is the best. Either way you won’t be disappointed!

The restaurant is small, dark and rather packed. I reserved a table, and they seated me in a nice, recessed booth. The noise level there was still above average. The service was good. The fritto misto was a generous portion - mostly calamari with two small shrimp and a tiny piece of cod. The dipping sauces were flavorful. The Caesar salad was average, and the white chocolate bread pudding was more like a slice of dense cake - a little crisp on top. I didn't taste any white chocolate flavor. The dark chocolate gelato that topped it was outstanding and tasted homemade. My partner had the butternut ravioli and said it was excellent. If I go back, I'll stick with just a pasta dish and gelato.
