Contemporary American: Portraying what Sonoma County has to offer with refined elegance and simplicity.


We will showcase what the region has to offer by focusing on the amazing network of farmers and artisan producers in the area. The relationships we have formed with our purveyors have given us the opportunity to work with what is available while providing the flexibility of changing our menu weekly.


We are determined to provide warm and personable service by dedicated professionals who love what they do. Every guest will feel as if we were inviting them into our own homes.


The wine program is inspired by the incredible history and diversity of the region that surrounds us. Here you can explore classic varieties made by the pioneers whose dedication has made Northern California one of the most exciting wine growing regions in the world.

    Some of the long term wait staff and the bussers are great. Our waiter was robotic and not so knowledgeable about food and wine. The mussels were great, but when a piece of grilled bread fell on the floor, it took 10 minutes to get another piece. By that time the mussels would have been cold. When I asked for the sommelier in order to get another opinion on the best wine for the duck, we waited 10-15 minutes. When he finally showed, his excuse was that so many people wanted to talk to him. The duck was fabulous. My husband had the NY steak. It was just ok. The wine list, while carefully curated, has room for more wines by the glass in the $20-25 range. The menu is limited. I’ve been to Valette 3 times now. I’m done. Over $250 for two and slow arrogant staff.

    The dinner was fantastic and the setting for a nice meal in Sonoma County is always exceptional. We were bothered, however with one table who were wearing tennis shoes, basketball shorts and zip up hoodies and hats rummaging around during their dinner talking on cell phones. I’m surprised the management allowed what looked like an In-N-Out or Denny’s dressed crowd to dine in establishment as this? I’m wondering if we should go next time just after the gym with white towels around our neck…

    Food was very good and well presented. Service was just right--not intrusive but there when you wanted it. Meal pace was also good, not hurried but without long gaps. Great place for a special event, in my case an anniversary.

    I was floored by this place. Hands down the best restaurant experience I've ver had. We went for our 10 year anniversary, and they had custom menus congratulating us and even a personalized card waiting on our table. The food was absolutely incredible. Everything was amazing. We will be back
