Contemporary American: Portraying what Sonoma County has to offer with refined elegance and simplicity.


We will showcase what the region has to offer by focusing on the amazing network of farmers and artisan producers in the area. The relationships we have formed with our purveyors have given us the opportunity to work with what is available while providing the flexibility of changing our menu weekly.


We are determined to provide warm and personable service by dedicated professionals who love what they do. Every guest will feel as if we were inviting them into our own homes.


The wine program is inspired by the incredible history and diversity of the region that surrounds us. Here you can explore classic varieties made by the pioneers whose dedication has made Northern California one of the most exciting wine growing regions in the world.

    For Valentine's Day, Friday February 14th, 2025, Chefs Dustin Valette & Derek Mattern have created an extraordinary 5 Course Tasting Menu with two optional additions. 7 grams of Valette Caviar ($25), and 1/2 Roasted Maine Lobster ($41). Dinner is $135 per person plus tax and gratuity. Reservations for our indoor and outdoor dining spaces are available from 5:00pm to 9:30pm. Please note that the regular dinner menu will not be offered this evening. We do require a credit card number to pre-pay your Valentine's Day dinner. Should the need arise, cancellation may be made up to 72 hours prior to the reservation date and time. If the cancellation is made after that point, the charge is $135 per person, and will be charged to your credit card.

    Have been here a couple of times. We don’t live in the area, but have really enjoyed this restaurant when visiting. Good vibe, food, service, cocktails, and ambiance.

    My wife and I had dinner at the restaurant in mid January 2025. We were very pleased. We had early reservations (5:30) and were seated promptly. Service throughout the evening was excellent; the wait staff checked on us regularly and the courses were served timely. I had the pumpkin soup and it was exceptional. For our main courses, my wife had the pork loin and not only was it good sized, it was also well seasoned and tender. I had the trout with potatoes and it was cooked as I had requested. We shared a dessert (a snickers like concoction) and it topped off the meal. Noise level was fine although as the evening progressed, the restaurant became more crowded and the noise level increased. Not an inexpensive dinner but expected if one looked at the menu ahead of time. Well worth the visit.

    Had a superb dinner this time around--better than all our past visits, and all the past visits have been good, so don't get me wrong--it's just that this time everything was beyond good. Appetizer to share: Day Boat Scallops en Croute ~ Jack Herron’s Wild Fennel Pollen White Sturgeon Caviar – Champagne Beurre Blanc. **We have this EVERY time and it is always fantastic. EVERYONE should have this--it serves two. **Also, we hope they NEVER take it off the menu. Mains: Herb Crusted Mt Lassen Steelhead Trout ~ Babe Farms Mustard Frills, Prince of Orange Potatoes – Asparagus – Tarragon Oil – Sauce Béarnaise. First time ordering this, really enjoyed it. Highly recommend. Prime New York Strip Loin ~ Costeaux Sourdough, Potato Fondant – Gremolata Marrow Bone – Chimichurri – Panzanella Salad. Always very good (BTW, the salad that accompanies this dish is very good!) Dessert: Mountain Rose Apple Frangipane ~ Vanilla Ice Cream – Marcona Almonds - Vanilla Tuille – Apple Cider Reduction. YUM! Wine: Valette has their own wines and they are very good. We always have the Pinot Noir and the Sauvignon Blanc. Cocktails: Gin & (House Made) Tonic~ No.3 Gin, House Made Tonic. Very good! Twigs & Berries ~ Terrior gin, Green Chartreuse, Raspberry, Pineapple, Lime, Egg Whites. Interesting, and very good!

    We went for my birthday dinner. The service was impeccable. The host and our server made the whole experience joyful. Our entrees, Steelhead Trout and New York Strip, were good but we especially liked the Caviar and Scallop en Croute starters. We will definitely return.

    Way overpriced for the culinary level. Pretentious explanations of the food don't automatically make the food better. Sourdough dust? Really?

    We had a wonderful experience with Valette. My husband and I did the tasting menu. I need a gluten free meal and my husband doesn’t. Normally we are served both gluten free or I am missing half the meal. At Valette they thoughtfully prepared us different courses so that we are both enjoying the best they have to offer. It was such a nice surprise and delicious. When we are in the area we will be back!
