Vaticano Restaurant is nestled down the stairs in the heart of Yorkville, home to celebrity chef Felice Vacca, where he draws inspiration from the cherished recipes passed down by his mother, infusing them with a modern touch to create a menu where every dish is crafted to bring rich flavours to your table. Our inviting ambiance makes every guest feel like family, whether you’re here for a romantic dinner, a special celebration, or simply a night of incredible food and great company. Come in, and let us take you on a journey of the simplicities of Italian cuisine.
Everything in the Vaticano restaurant is made from scratch every day. This includes the sauces and pasta, each made fresh and never frozen or kept overnight. Some of the signature dishes at Vaticano include the bucatini amatricina which is pasta with chopped bacon, onions and pecorino in a spiced tomato sauce as well as the pappardelle vaticanus, which is served with mushrooms and caramelized onion in a marsala wine sauce.

We enjoyed our time with new friends. We had great customer service. The bruschetta was great. The Caesar salad is a must try.

me and my boyfriend stumbled across this place in February and I had the mushroom ravioli, and the truffle cream was so flavourful. My boyfriend opted for the veal in balsamic cream sauce, and it was just as incredible. we had to go back for date night as the ambience was a perfect setting and the staff made us feel right at home. This time i enjoyed the mushroom risotto (clearly im a fan of mushrooms lol) and my boyfriend decided on fish tonight and had the sea bass filet. Once again an amazing dining experience and the food was incredible.

A very cozy Italian restaurant in the heart of yorkville. The food is exceptional, by far the best Italian I have ever had. From the moment you walk through the door they treat you like family. Amazing food with even better service. 1000% would recommend!

Traditional Italian fare. The Bucatini Amatrice was excellent but the Ravioli Sasha was undercooked. If not out with company, I would have sent it back to the kitchen. Caprese salad was fine.

Excellent customer service. Well priced. The atmosphere is so warm and you feel like you are having authentic Italian food. The veal is very nice.

A friend and I went to Vaticano for a Winterlicious lunch. Perhaps because it was a Tuesday, we were the only people there. Not so good for the owners, but great for us! We were able to talk easily, and of course we got good service. The food was delicious, especially the lemon chicken. Our meal included a dessert, but we were also brought complementary servings of tiramisu. We took that home. When I finally could eat it, it tasted like heaven. My friend said it was her best Winterlicious ever, and we will definitely go back.
