   First visit. Nice initial impressions; Bright, cheery, clean and area appropriate vibe. Excellent drink and happy hour menu, along with willingness to modify standard fare. Adult beverages were of good quality and quantity. Order some deviled eggs, truly the gem of the menu. Nice zip from added horseradish. Paused initially at the “bacon jam”, which seemed to be a healthy portion of quality chopped bacon. The 3 eggs quickly vanished, leaving me pause only to wonder why I hadn’t went all in on six. For mains we ordered sandwiches, chx salad and a tuna melt. The chx salad ingredients were fairly unique, and not classic, but blended well. We were disappointed at the limit of bread choices, but made due with the hamburger bun. The lettuce was not iceberg, but a blended which oddly included some spinach, the texture of which does not lend well to a sandwich. We ordered fries, sweet potato fries and risotto. The ingredients were all of good quality, fresh, prepared well and delivered timely. The Sweet Potato fries however didn’t arrive. After ten mins we were able to flag our server (he never came back to check on things) to advised we had received regular fries in error. With a look and a tell that spoke of incredulity, off he went to the kitchen. And immediately returned with a sparse plate of sweet potato fries on the very over done side. With a sniff, off he went, not apparently hearing our calls to return to discuss what he brought us. The rest of the exchanges were icy. So maybe you do think the customer is senile or just misrepresenting the truth. But do you make a scene over fries? And then treat them with disregard? I’ll admit to childishly uttering to the busboy as he took the untouched plate away that maybe he would like to ask the cook if he wanted to eat some burnt offerings. In retribution, as he and our server walked from the kitchen past our table, they engaged in a good laugh.

   Our dinner experience was lovely. The food was delicious and Lisa our server did an excellent job and gave us a wonderful Birthday experience. Thank you so much

   Service was horrible. Service was slow and confused. Ordered short ribs and they brought wings. Staff seems very inexperienced at 4:00 in the afternoon.

    Unfortunately, our order was messed up\ , probably in the kitchen. It took 30 minutes. Two adjacent tables which were empty when we were seated received their food and finished their meals before our food was finally delivered. Our food was cold and not prepared as requested.
