Vernon's Speakeasy is the only speakeasy restaurant in New Mexico! We feature exquisite steaks and seafood and American cuisine in a superb dining atmosphere.     Our exclusive Seven-course High Roller menu will feature tableside salad and dessert service as well as paired wines and exquisite appetizers and entrees. This will take place in our Black Diamond Lounge in front of live jazz music. Music will be performed between 6:00 - 9:00. Only five reservations are available at specific start times. We may ask you to move your reservation 15 minutes for a higher quality experience. Expect a dining time of 2.5 - 3 hours for this exclusive dining experience. See attached menu in photos. This intimate experience is for parties of two only. Contact us PRIOR to making a reservation if you have an allergy to any menu items.

    Celebrate National Cocktail Day with an amazing set menu and a cocktail competition. Our chefs have designed a four course menu featuring blue crab cakes, house salad, red chile pork tenderloin and a special dessert. You will receive a flight of cocktails and decide which of our mixologists has the best cocktail. No substitutions for menu items unless you have an allergy. Please make a note at the time of booking to allow us time to prepare an alternative. Due to limited seating, no refunds will be honored. Please call (505)341-0831 to reserve a party greater than 6. Expect a dining experience between 2.5 - 3 hours.

    Introducing our tasting menu for Spring 2025. Sample bites of appetizer and entree items that may be introduced on our standard Vernon's Speakeasy menu or on an upcoming event menu. Your feedback will help us choose future menus. The menu is set so no need to choose, you'll receive each item on the menu. This set menu does not offer substitutions. This is not a normal Vernon's Speakeasy dining experience so expect a more efficient dining time of 1 hour to 1 hour 15 minutes. Please make a standard reservation to access our full menu. No refunds available. Limited seating available. Available ONLY on Wednesday and Thursday through April 17, 2025

    We went for our 28th wedding Anniversary and had a wonderful experience from the secret door entry to the food and live music everything was amazing. All of the staff were friendly and attentive especially our waitress Toni.

    Wow wow! We were there for Valentine and can’t say we were trilled. Just wasn’t up to their normal standards and left shocked. But now, wow went there for my birthday and it was amazing. From the moment we were secretly brought in n greeted by the muscle of the place. lol He was fun, entertaining n really wanted to know about us. Our server was outstanding. He was extremely knowledgeable of the wines n high end whiskey. We ordered and were skeptical but quickly we were amazed. The food excellent and beautifully presented. Our server was attentive and provided great conversation. Thank you for a wonderful experience n birthday!

    Fun experience from the very beginning with secret password to the introduction at the front door. Food was amazing. The broccolini was cooked perfectly and truffle mashed potatoes were awesome. Ribeye was just ok. Drinks were amazing. Got the smoked old fashioned. Only complaint was we were sat in the very far back away from live music and energy of the speakeasy feel. I would recommend asking for a new table if that happens. We would come back again for drinks at the bar.

    Amazing time!!! Love Mickey at the door, the ambiance, and the fabulous food. Brought my Dad and he was impressed with the theme, the show, and the food.

    The atmosphere and service were great. However, Joe the door man was not. The pressure to tip him is unnecessary and does not make for a good start to the evening experience. Additionally, my guest and I ordered the boneless ribeye prepared medium rare. Both of our steaks were a bit chewy. I expect more from a high end restaurant. On a positive note the service was excellent.

    Food is excellent as always. Many steak house charge high but fall short, but Vernon’s is high end and high value.

    The “entry” experience was very unique, extremely well executed and fun. Mr. Dolan was great. Our server Shawn was enjoyable as well, and the food outstanding- better than a recent James Beard experience in a different city.
