Vernon's Speakeasy is the only speakeasy restaurant in New Mexico! We feature exquisite steaks and seafood and American cuisine in a superb dining atmosphere.     We’ve been to Vernon‘s several times and like the atmosphere and the experience. For New Year’s Eve, it was very plain Jane. For $200 a person, I would’ve expected a nicer atmosphere. I called ahead of time and asked if they would be having live jazz, this is the entire reason I chose this location for our New Year’s Eve celebration. I was looking for a classy spot with nice music and good food. We were put in a room literally by ourselves. There was one other couple there when we first arrived. There was piped in background music, the restaurant was cold. Not the atmosphere appealing for New Year’s Eve.  The food was good, but they weren’t flexible for accommodating any changes to their set menu or options for dietary allergies.

    Great place! My wife and I go every year for our anniversary. For us, once a year keeps the place fun, but the food is "always" amazing!

    The food was amazing. Loved the elk tenderloins & the chocolate decadence cake. Our wait staff was very attentive. The overall atmosphere was a lot of fun. Definitely, will go back.

    Theme right off the start is great, and the staff are on point on the entire time. The ceaser salad was so good I wanted a second and the steaks are made fantastic, texture and taste are great. I tried the silver coin with the house tequila and wish I had gotten a second. Great location to take your significant other for a celebration.

    Boy, talk about a really unique experience!! At the front door, after we had our "password" validated, we were met by Micky with a baseball bat who made sure we knew what the houserules were. We were escorted to our table and prepared for a terrific dining experience. The food was expertly prepared and presented. It was a really enjoyable experience.

    Great experience! I had the fillet mignon and it was perfect. The scallops were also super yum! Our waiter was great as well. It was a little bit loud, but to be expected the few days leading up to Christmas.
