Vic’s is located in a beautiful old cotton warehouse overlooking the Savannah River and Historic River Street. With entrances on both Bay and River Streets, we are easy to access. Pets are welcomed on our outdoor patio, where guests can dine under centuries-old Live Oaks overlooking Historic Factors Walk. Along with our spectacular views, Vic’s menu reflects Savannah’s Southern charm with our sophisticated take on traditional Southern cuisine and our fresh, local seafood selections.     The service was very slow. The food was great when it came, but it took a long time to even get initial water then when she gave water she didn’t even take our drink order she just left again. I ordered a steak and had to flag her down to ask for a steak knife which was kinda odd if someone orders a filet they shouldn’t have to ask for a knife after it arrives not at this price point. She even seemed annoyed that we flagged her down. I understand when you busy but she wasn’t even running the food. I’m pretty sure she was just busy doing stuff to close up for the night, but if you not going to provide the same service at 9 as you do at 7 then maybe make everything half price. Food was very good just some of the worst service I’ve had in a while.

    We were celebrating my Mom's 81st birthday. The restaurant hostess greeted us warmly and took us to our seat. The tables are placed close toghether which gives one a feeling of being cramped. Our server asked us how we were but didn't tell us his name. It was later on in the service that we learned his name was "Tregan". He was courteous and attentive and we appreciated that he modified the fried green tomato appetizer to accomodate a party of four. The food was excellent however the noise level makes having intimate conversations difficult. The only miss was we advised in advance that we were celebrating a birthday and there was absolutely no acknowledgement at all which was somehwat dissappointing. There was also a "credit card surcharge" of 2.5% attached to our $286.41 tab ($6.49). If you're going to charge for using a credit card at your establishment it should be disclosed - be transparent!

    Good service and the manager kept checking each table. The food was good and solid but not special. Do not order the key lime pie. Tasteless.
