Vic’s is located in a beautiful old cotton warehouse overlooking the Savannah River and Historic River Street. With entrances on both Bay and River Streets, we are easy to access. Pets are welcomed on our outdoor patio, where guests can dine under centuries-old Live Oaks overlooking Historic Factors Walk. Along with our spectacular views, Vic’s menu reflects Savannah’s Southern charm with our sophisticated take on traditional Southern cuisine and our fresh, local seafood selections.     Our service was good with the following exception, It took nearly an hour between our appetizer and the main courses being served. There was a wedding reception going on and it appeared to be causing a line up at the restrooms 5-8 people deep. There was also a constant parade of people walking around our table which made it difficult to enjoy the experience. We are in the area for 5 weeks and friends visiting and had hoped for a better dining experience.

    We had a mixed review. Ambiance and service was excellent. Crabcakes were excellent but the entree was not prepared to our liking. We ordered an expensive Tomahawk steak and crab legs and crab was overcooked and steak was fatty and undercooked. They replaced with a filet which was also undercooked but we were on a tight schedule so couldn’t have them cook it more. They were very gracious and apologized but our food experience was disappointing.

    Today on Valentine's Day I went to my favorite restaurant which is Vic's on the river on Bay Street in Savannah Georgia. A set of the booth facing out to the river nice scenery great aviance. I had a server named Aaron he was very nice and very attentive polite professional always make sure I was taking care of. Thank you Aaron for the premier customer service and definitely to Vicks on the river My favorite restaurant in Savannah Georgia
