Plantains were served cold and too hard as if sitting in the kitchen all day. The lechon or roast pig was very salted. Still tasty but a salt mine. The guacamole appetizer had very little guacamole-it was a mix of chips mostly. We ordered a martini and the glass was not full as if the waiter spilled it. Afterwards we thought after 39 years of going there, we wouldn’t ever go back.

We arrived on time for our 615p reservation which was booked weeks before. When we arrived they were running late. Our table was for 12 and with children very hungry. Diego the manager was very empathetic and other than ask for patience he was real sorry about the situation. Tables stay over 2 and 3 hours on a Thanksgiving and Black friday holidays. Knowing the rysh the restaurants have. Anyway he was very accommodating and within 30 minutes we were searing in out table. The food was amazing. My new spot in Manhattan.

Very enjoyable birthday visit to Victor's Cafe. Armando our waiter was very friendly and provided excellent service. We were a party of 8 celebrating two birthdays and everyone had a great time and enjoyed their meal. We shared appetizers, Bartolito, frituritas de bacalao and tostones all very delicous. Main entrees included the Pollo Campestre, Churrasco con chimichurri, of course a few ropa viejas and the ponle ropa a la vaca. Unfortunately some ordered the rabo encendido but not available that night. Thank you for another enjoyable experience to the staff at Victor's Cafe. Happy Holidays!

Phenomenal guacamole and red snapper ceviche. You can’t go wrong with any dish. The food is the same great quality and flavor every time!
