The Village Anchor offers a unique setting in Louisville’s east end, both for personal and professional occasions. The Village Anchor Restaurant and Anchor Bar on the main floor bring together stone, red leathers, rich worn velvets, wrought iron, dark woods, Italian appointments, Carrera marble, and the original crimson red beer taps from Churchill Down’s Silks Bar. It offers an upscale-casual, fun environment with an inimitable European flavor and exotic French flair. The lower level Sea Hag Pub offers a completely different look and feel. The “Hag” brings together brick, worn woods, hand-wrought iron, stone, and copper. The 30-foot copper bar with built-in ice troughs chill your favorite brew or wine.

Please recognize that we do our best to accommodate patio dining reservations, though seating is based on weather and availability.

We had lunch in the Sea Hag and it was great! Alan Wrench, Brown Sugar Old Fashion, Goat Cheese App, Chicken & Waffles, BLTA and Kevin’s Meatloaf Burger were all super.

It was great! However.. I love craft cocktails and they were not able to make me 3/4 drinks I tried to order... They did not even have ginger beer for a mile. Very disappointing from the drink inventory perspective, but amazing food and service!! Our server was great!

Always a favorite! We went for my mom’s birthday dinner and had the best time. The short rib was fabulous.

Parking is a bit limited close to the building but there's spots near by and not toor far.of a walk. Mt wife got the shrimp and grits and lived it. I got the fish and chips. Very good. Sat on the patio where it was winterized and we'll heated, but not too much. Service was great

I recently dined at village anchor, and unfortunately, my experience was less than stellar. The service was frustratingly slow, with our server seeming overwhelmed and inattentive. It took far too long to receive our orders, and when the food finally arrived, it was disappointingly mediocre at best. To top it off we were seated near the entrance (which was fine) to hear another customer complain about similar service. After the customer left the employees gathered and spoke loudly about the situation. Handling a customer complaint should be handled privately not in the presence of those customers. That said, I can't help but express my love for the two sister restaurants, Le moo and Grassa Gramma. Both places have consistently delivered delightful dishes and exceptional service, making them my go-to spots. I just wish village anchor could take a page from their playbook! I'll be sticking to the sisters for my future dining adventures.
