Came to Vintana’s NYE experience with my husband and the entire experience was phenomenal. The menu selection was great, service was attentive, and the ambiance was fitting for new years. We sat outdoors due to limited reservation availability (our fault) but despite it being a cold night, all staff were doing their best to ensure it was warm around us.

OMG, what a find! This place is a gem. We were visiting for the holidays and found this spot. I’m glad we did. The service was great. The ambience was inviting. The food was excellent. The only snafu was trying to locate parking in the evening. It wasn’t clearly marked. Also the wait was too long, especially since we had reservations. I assume they overbooked for The New Year. Overall, it was a great experience. We will definitely return when we are in the area.

My wife and I have dined many times at Vintana and consider it our go-to restaurant for a fine dining experience. We also go to the restauant's happy hours now and then. I have always rated the overall experience a 10 and gave it a nine this time only because everything was not top-notch as it usually is. However, the four of us still had a very good dining experience. I assume what I saw as shortcomings were merely because it was New Year’s Eve and holidays always put a certain amount of strain on any restaurant. I would highly recommend Ventana otherwise.

This is one of the worst New Year’s Eve experiences I’ve ever had. I picked this place because I like the food and it’s one of my favorite restaurants, but honestly I don’t know what I ate last night. It definitely was not the quality and the same kind of food that is on the regular menu and I just can’t believe what we paid for. We were looking forward to the popovers, and instead we received a pressed down hamburger bun. The food came out cold because it was just so cold outside and most of us had issues with something being wrong with our food. One person didn’t get their first course and we were all done with our first course by the time somebody at our table finally got their first course. The choices on the set menu were odd and not appealing. When I made the reservation, I tried looking for the menu so that I could see what it was before setting on choosing this place and I couldn’t find it anywhere. Panzanella salad is a very specific salad that has large chunks of stale bread in it. what we were given was a salad that looks like somebody took a box of unseasoned croutons off of a shelf and just sprinkled them on. Our food was all cold when it was given to us and then got colder as we were sitting outside. I figured with how cold as it was outside they would make some sort of accommodation for making sure that people were warm and comfortable. eating my dinner with a big fur coat on was not my idea of a good dining experience and I think they should’ve taken all that into effect of how people were dressed for New Year’s Eve and sitting outside with what was a very cold evening. I had people that were visiting from out of town and I had raved about this restaurant and they were disappointed. I was beyond embarrassed over what we spent per person and what we got to eat and how the experience was overall.

Our server, Kevin, was excellent. My wife and I shared the wedge salad — the kitchen split it for us, and it had just the right amount of dressing. Quite impressive. At Kevin’s suggestion, I ordered the seared Ahi; I couldn’t have been happier. Haven’t been to Vintana in over a year — we’ll be heading back there soon. Very happy with our experience!
